Glencree ligger i vackra omgivningar i Lakeland, med utsikt över en idyllisk bäck, mellan byarna Bowness och Windermere. Lovely building and the room was superb. Lots of attention to detail with furnishings. Bed huge and super comfy. Staff were great and Ian was fantastic with us as we arrived a little early but Ian let us have our room so we could go out around Windermere without having to come back to check in. This was much appreciated.

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck - E.V friendly ligger 36 km från Derwentwater och erbjuder boende i Windermere med tillgång till ett bubbelbad. Beautiful location, really cute kitchen, spacious bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Spa isn't on site but only 5 mins drive away. Great pool and sauna.

A very warm welcome into a stunning period building. Ample parking right outside. Very spacious room, with comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. A good sized mini fridge was a bonus, alongside a good TV. The pre order breakfast option delivered to your room worked great, especially travelling with our dog! Hotel very walkable to local pubs and eateries. Would recommend for a stay in Ambleside.

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. The whole building was lovely inside and out. It had a really homely feel and was very cosy especially perfect for a cold November night! Breakfast was lovely and served fast. I enjoyed the self check in aspect and the rooms were perfect. We had a lovely view and everything we needed. Perfect location for pubs and the train station was right next door.

Quaysiders Club ligger vid sjön Windermere på Waterhead, en kort promenad från byn Ambleside. I Waterhead finns flera barer, restauranger och kaféer. I absolutely love how spacious the apartment was + huge plus for the two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. The swimming pool was very pleasant and the laundry room with dryers was also very helpful.

St John's Lodge är ett prisbelönt pensionat som ligger mellan byn Windermere och sjön vid Bowness Bay. We had such a wonderful stay at this lodge! The place is very cozy, spotless, and clearly well cared for. Since it’s run directly by the owners, the service feels personal and truly superb. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to both Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere town, making it very convenient. One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful touches: complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies, all refilled daily—something you don’t usually get at hotels. We booked this for our advance wedding anniversary and were greeted with a sweet little surprise, which made our stay extra special. We only paid a small amount for an additional chocolate treat, which was absolutely worth it. Breakfast was also fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from. You can really feel the love and care Rich and Ada put into running their lodge—it makes all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Lake District!
