I would give Althaea 15 stars if I could. The accommodation is beautiful, the pool is amazing. The rooms are exactly like the photos. Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and amazing air-conditioning. Location is fabulous, 10 minute walk to town (no hills or steps) and a 3 minute walk to bus stop 3. The family who run the hotel are lovely people, extremely helpful. There is a little cafe/bar, very reasonably priced and the drinks and food are wonderful. It is very quiet and relaxing. If I didn't live on the other side of the world I would be back next year. I would highly recommend this accommodation

Grazie a tutto lo staff. Accoglienza e cortesia ottima. La colazione è molto ricca e varia, con varietà di cibi sia dolci sia salati. Ottimi cappuccini serviti al tavolo dal personale molto cordiale. Sapendo che era il mio anniversario di matrimonio mi hanno fatto trovare in camera una bottiglia di vino e 2 bicchieri. Grazie mille per la gentilezza!. La posizione è ottima. A 10 minuti sei in centro alla movida della città di Skiathos, mentre se desideri la tranquillità, ti godi la spiaggia di Megali.

The location is perfect, just 2 min walk from the beach, 10 min from the city centre. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is fantastic, very nice team of young, attentive and well educated people everywhere - at the reception, in the restaurant, on the beach. The beach is nice, sun beds are provided, in the evenings one can enjoy a cocktail watching the moon path. The food is very good - congratulations to the chef ! It combines the Greek tradition with modernity and all is served very elegant way! The breakfast is very good with big variety of local pastries, cheese, fruits, nuts, etc.

Posizionato a Megali Ammos, a 600 metri da Spiaggia di Megali Ammos e 1,9 km da Porto di Skiathos, Skiathos Avaton Suites & Villas, Philian Hotels and Resorts mette a disposizione una piscina... Nice hotel on top of the hill, ~15 minutes walk to city center, beautiful jacuzzi in the room. You can call a golf car from the hotel situated at the start of the hill called also Avaton, especially if you have luggage. Nice staff. Good breakfast with a beautiful view near the pool. The room is so big with all you will need. There is a supermarket down the hill, also you can walk to the beach.

I’m not sure I can find enough beautiful words for this hotel. We’ve traveled a lot, but you won’t find a team like this anywhere—approachable, kind, and highly professional! Everything we wished for, they made happen. At this hotel, perched above the beautiful coast of Skiathos, you’ll experience genuine Greek hospitality, the feeling that the sea and beaches belong only to you, and romantic evenings lit by moonlight scattered across the sea. Reaching the room could be tiring if there wasn’t an elevator that takes you to the first level where the pool, bar, restaurant, and reception are. From there, Spiros or Miltos, with a graceful gesture, guide you to a silent electric golf cart that takes you right to your room entrance. The room is spacious, the beds comfortable, and the pillows (two types) excellent for sleeping. It’s cleaned daily, and the linens and towels are changed every other day. The room includes a Nespresso machine with a few complimentary coffee capsules and milk, several bottles of water in the fridge, a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, a safe, and a small kitchenette. The bathroom has natural ventilation—which alone deserves a rating of 10! From the large balcony, there's a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea. The sliding balcony door and the small bathroom window both have mosquito screens. Breakfast is excellent, with a good selection of fresh ingredients: three types of eggs, divine crispy bacon, grilled mushrooms, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, and several kinds of fruit. Hot and cold drinks, freshly baked bread and pastries,all perfect for starting the day. Little Ginger, the adorable and well-behaved Bichon—the hotel’s mascot—will brighten your day every time you arrive or return.He will become her newest love. Our stay in Skiathos and the memories wewe’re taking from Hotel La Luna will be a glowing recommendation to all our friends and acquaintances. We will definitely be coming back.
