This monastery-style guesthouse is just 200 metres from Kalampaka centre just behind the small picturesque train station. It offers rustic rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views of Meteora. The location is great enough far from the rocks to have beautiful view of 2 monasteries and enough close to city center to walk for any bar or restaurant or shopping. Room with Meteora view is worthy. Parking just outside the hotel. Ladies at the Guesthouse were very friendly and do a good job for breakfast, explaining the options and offering home made pastries. Room was cleaned after the first night which positivily surprised us. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Very good hotel, the staff very nice and polite. Many thanks to Elias (the night receptionist) The only bad point is the pool and sauna time, 11-20h. If you want to go to see the city, you will not have time to enjoy these facility due to the later opening time.

The room was spacious and clean. A great place to stay in Skiathos!

Would give 20/10 if possible!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Althaea Luxury Rooms at Skiathos, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely ideal –right next to the bus stop and just a short walk to the town, making it incredibly convenient to explore local attractions, restaurants, shops etc. Despite its proximity to the town, the establishment remains incredibly calm, no noise disturbances at night. The room was impeccable, and I loved having a little private terrace. The modern, high-quality decor and appliances added to the overall ambiance and comfort of the space. One of the highlights of the establishment is the pool, which was well-maintained and added a nice plus to my overall experience. Also the coffee at the bar was excellent ! I regret discovering this a bit too late. A special mention must go to the manager, Alkis. He was extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of his way to provide recommendations and accommodate guests as much as possible. I will definitely return and I highly recommended Althaea Luxury Rooms.
