With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Wonderful staff, fab dinner at Maxwell's (salmon en croute was the star!), delicious G&Ts beforehand made from Farnham estate gin, and a very comfortable & quiet room. Wish I'd had time to use the beautiful spa!

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than a five-minute drive from the town centre. I booked the Cavan crystal hotel for a hen night in September. I have to say this was the nicest hotel stay I have ever had. The friendliest and most helpful team they really made our stay there exceptional. They even had the hens name on the dinner menu. Thanks so much for a fabulous stay Irene & team. Looking forward to coming back.
