Very welcoming place. The host, Sean, was excellent at telling stories about the place, the house and the area. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Die in Laragh gelegene Unterkunft The Deerstone Luxury Eco Hideaway ist 2,9 km von Kloster Glendalough und 22 km von Museum Wicklow Gaol entfernt. We got a warm welcome by Peter on arrival who showed us to the cottage and around the site. The welcome breakfast hamper was lovely with homemade granola, honey, butter, bread, eggs, milk and jam. The location was beautiful, peaceful and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The private hot tub a huge plus with the kids. Super comfy beds and everything you needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We would love to go back and stay again.

Die Unterkunft Powerscourt Springs Health Farm, die in Wicklow, 4,9 km von Powerscourt House, Gärten und Wasserfall entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten,... It was a stop off for 1 night on route to playing golf 30mins away the following day. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the facilities as we arrived at 9pm and left at 8am but what we saw looked excellent especially for the excellent value that we paid for our Wednesday night stop. Breakfast was satisfactory with a lovely plate of various fruits served before our full Irish breakfast. Reception staff who also covered the bar were super friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. It's definitely a place to return to (bringing our wife's) next time we journey in the area for golf knowing they will have a satisfying day in our absence.

Good food in bar and restaurant. Fireplaces and coffee bar and comfortable chairs. Generous check out time at 12 noon. Home made jam and marmalade in big jars at breakfast.

Das Druids Glen Resort begrüßt Sie im Herzen der Grafschaft Wicklow, die wegen ihrer natürlichen Schönheit auch als Grafschaft der Gärten bezeichnet wird. Ein wunderbares Hotel mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, wunderschönen Zimmern, ein herrliches Außengelände, ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind genauso wie sie auf den Fotos abgebildet sind, das ist ja leider nicht immer so der Fall, aber hier eins zu eins. Als vor Ort was man sich wünscht, Spa, Schwimmbad, Fitnessraum, Bar, Restaurant..... Auch als Nicht Golfer eine wunderschöne Urlaubslocation. Herrliche Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung, wer Natur liebt, die Wicklow Mountains sind ein Steinwurf weit entfernt, guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in umliegende Städte.. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. ❤️
