It’s a 20 minute walk to town, east on way down bit steep coming back but loved the exercise. Staff so helpful with maps booking restaurants etc. definitely recommend !

Fantastic and very unique hotel. Right in the heart and yet very peaceful. The room was quite big and had all the amenities. The unique old-style swimming pool is the best we have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was great, unique, and filling. All the complimentary experiences were designed with a lot of thought and detail.

Very beautifully landscaped surroundings (roses in bloom, vineyard in the yard, olive trees), very large outdoor swimming pool and only 20 minutes from Matera. Will we be back?
