The Tobacco Suite was a beautiful boutique accommodation in the equally wonderful village of Mesagne. The room was a great size and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool was so lovely to relax in after a day of exploring. The breakfast was incredible! Everything was so fresh and plentiful. The wonderful staff were very helpful with anything we needed, from dinner suggestions to checking that we had parked somewhere that we would not get a fine. We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Il Trullino. The property is very contemporary and beautifully designed. The comfortable bed and delicious breakfast made for a relaxing stay. It consists of only two rooms so we often had the pool area to ourselves. The private outdoor shower was a hit! Francesca the excellent host is extremely knowledgeable about Puglia and is happy to recommend restaurants and local towns worth visiting. Nothing was too much trouble. Il Trullino is a couple of minutes drive to Ostuni with its numerous restaurants and bars. It is also a short drive to the beach.
