We had a great dinner at their restaurant and we wished we had more time to spend there. We loved Toscana and we definitely would come back again

The wine tasting was excellent. The food in the restaurant was superior. The breakfast each morning was the best we had our entire Italian trip. The wait staff were wonderful and very comforting. Certosa Di Maggiano is a former monastery located in the Tuscan countryside, 2 km from Siena's famous Piazza del Campo. It offers unique rooms, free internet and free parking. After a very difficult year, I wanted to find a special place in Italy to spoil me and my partner. I always look for places that will have something a bit special that can elevate our stay from something nice to something extraordinary and Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was not only extraordinary, it was extra extraordinary. The place is stunning, from every angle, totally unique and slightly quirky. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is divine - elegant, very good food and waiters - without feeling overly fussy. The recommendations for things to do in the area brought us to places we would never have found on our own and took us off the tourist trail - including excellent, local restaurants. But like every experience - the thing that made the place truly magic were the people, the staff, they really care about your experience and the hospitality is so genuine and kind. 8 days we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended.
