Beautiful little village 5km from the town...clean room, comfortable bed, very clean bathroom... great swimming pool... breakfast was excellent

German restaurant was great for breakfast. About 1.5 km walk into the centre of town, but easy to get remorque or tuk-tuk via Passapp app for a very reasonable price. Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.

The slightly remote, back-water riverside location might not be for everyone, but was just perfect for me. I loved being able to go out kayaking whenever, or just relax around the facilities surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, in Asia (for my admittedly western tastes where I often find Asian beds are too hard for me). The food at the restaurant was excellent, and staff were very helpful at arranging day trips, and shuttle into town. It’s very easy and cheap to get a tuktuk back from Kampot city centre.

Gorgeous setting, gorgeous rooms, great food, exceptional service. We definitely want to visit Kampot again and this is where we will stay!

Mayroon ang Hotel Old Cinema ng outdoor swimming pool, hardin, terrace, at restaurant sa Kampot. From the very first moment you walk in you are greeted warmly and offered a delicious drink. The rooms are extremely well appointed, spacious, clean and vibrant with art deco furnishings. The exterior private deck is an excellent place to chill, the wonderful foyer with its greenery below is beautiful and serene. The breakfast is simply outstanding with a combination of both khmer and Western dishes. All the options are fantastic, coffee in the french press is superb and also accompanied by fresh orange juice. Their greatest asset may be the owners and the Khmer staff. They were so helpful, joyous and very professional. We enjoyed all our interactions with staff and the hospitlity shown was 10/10. We have been travelling through Asia for 6 week's and this was undoubtedly our favourite stay. Also a huge shoutout to Nina and Simone, the 2 gorgeous resident cats. This property is a real gem in Kampot, but book early as it's very small and boutique with only 8 rooms. We wish the owners and staff all the best, we hope to come back.

It's my second time at this resort. So, after water view bungalow I'd love to stay here only. -Nice pool and friendly English speaking stuff. - Mountain view breakfast. - Quite and clean area. U can rent moto for 6$ a day or order tuk tuk around 2.5$ to the city.

Honestly, the host and his wife were amazing! Their super friendly attitude and positive vibes made us feel right at home. It was such a pleasure to stay there. Thank you!

Matatagpuan sa Kampot, 6.6 km mula sa Kampot Pagoda, ang The Step Hotel kampot ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may outdoor swimming pool, libreng private parking, terrace, at restaurant. The hotel is in a remote place, really chill. The rooms are clean and the hosts are super friendly. Juli and Stepan will make you feel more than welcome. Bonus: 4 puppies are welcoming you as well :)

Absolutely beautiful hidden piece of paradise 🇰🇭 And amazing and very attentive staff. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend 👍👍👍
