We also enjoyed a wonderful private garden tour and a fantastic day trip to the Knuckles Mountains with Bandar, arranged by the hotel. The hotel is located in a scenic spot in the middle of a small tea estate. The surrounding views are spectacular. The staff were so helpful and the food was absolutely amazing! They set up the ping pong table for us and drove us to the beautiful Sembuwaththa lake. Well worth a visit if you love nature, hiking through tea estates and Sri Lankan food.

He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

Absolutely outstanding! Here the time stopped 100y ago! They keep as much as possible originally, yes for sure not new and some comfort is missing, but I prefer it like this! Outstanding!
