We loved our stay. A beautiful, peaceful setting, the price included buffet breakfast and dinner which were tasty, plentiful and catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, special call out for Donny, and professional. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport and park was reliable, and there was good wifi in the bar/reception area.

Situado em Kuching, o The Village House fica a apenas 3 minutos a pé da Praia Santubong e a 7 minutos de carro da Montanha Santubong e da Vila Cultural de Sarawak. So calm, beautiful area at rhe foot of the mountain and just in the village (there are 3 cafes and 2 v little shops for some basic bits). We did the wetlands cruise with John at the jetty in town and it was a must! 15.min walk or the staff will drive you. Also got a lift to damai beach where there are some more food places and shops and the cultural centre $20 entrance for that. Pool is great. You can borrow bikes to explore the area. Note the sea in this area is not for swimming as mangroves/crocs! Can go down the road to Damai easily enough...
