Instructed the moto-taxi driver to help us with our bags at the port. So kind and joyful, always smiling.

Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

We stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier and better cared for. Great room and bed, super breakfast, a beautiful garden and pool. Just 5 minutes by mototaxi from the center. The owner is an amazing person, highly recommend this place!
