This was one of my favorite accommodations of my two week trip to Portugal. I appreciated the location being a short drive outside the city center but close enough to enjoy all that Coimbra has to offer. Edgar was so kind, extremely helpful and really made my stay special. The renovation of the family home is very stylish while remaining respectful of the home’s history. The attention to detail in my room and throughout the home is one of the best I’ve seen. Don’t forget to look up and admire the detail of the ceilings! The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and plentiful. I especially loved the fresh farm eggs made to order as well as the orange juice squeezed from their groves out back and the fresh baked cakes. I highly recommend Oryza for your Coimbra stay and cannot wait to visit again.

Most friendly people & staff which Dinther utmost best to make you feel welcome. We stayed in a tent, which was perfect. Property located at a remote spot with an astonishing view! Perfect holiday with kids. 2x large swimming pools in main area, which were just perfect for young(er) kids as well, as their entry is rather shallow, slowly gradually getting more deep, making it also suitable for adults. We loved it!
