The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is professional and very friendly. Good breakfast. The hotel is very quiet as there are only 8 rooms, all with river view. It’s my second time here and I have already booked my next stay.

For once even better than promised by the pictures👌 Everything worked, and the quality is well worth thw price. We stayd there on a quiet night but it may be good to check in advance if there are bigger events happening - it’s a popular wedding and party venue, for a good reason😊

Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Everything is wonderful! A little piece of paradise! Magnificent views! The owners are delightful, warm friendly & incredibly helpful!! The infinity pool & jacuzzi has the most incredible views. Now we have found this gem of a guest house we will return . Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. the staff was amazing and very helpful

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. I can only endorse what other reviewers have said. This is a fabulous experience if you stay for at least 2 nights and get to know travellers from other countries. Great food, wine & port.....all free flowing & generously dispensed by the affable Miguel. Just book it now, you won't regret it !

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. Really nice room with good facilities and a beautiful view. Great breakfast. The spa was excellent. The breakfast and check out hours were more relaxed than normal hotels which made the stay feel extra relaxed.
