The facilities were beautiful and absolutely spotless. The setting was unreal, I kept having to tell myself, this is real, it's not a photo.. The staff was so friendly and kind. And the breakfast was amazing. We will stay there again if we are ever able to travel again to Maderia.

Miguel was the ultimate host. He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

Very happy to stay at this hotel, nice view, very nice services of receptionist who was vey kind to help us ti postpone our stay little bit longer the same room. Absolutely amazing will arrive one more time

Casa das Proteas har udsigt over Atlanterhavet og ligger på Estrada das Covas no8, São Jorge, Madeira, 50 km fra Funchal. Beliggenheden er fremragende som udgangspunkt for flere vandreture. The place is lovely, very private and calm. It's so beautiful there. The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. We stayed in 4 places douring our trip and I'm confident in saying this was the BEST one!! + There's a lonely kitty

The hotel surrounding is beautiful with stunning views, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony or just outside the hotel. Great breakfast with huge choice of food. We had a vila which was very spacious and well equipped, even with an own fireplace :) The staff was super friendly. There is also a walking path that will bring you down to the beach, which is not far, just it is little steep. Definitely recommend for families with kids - they can enjoy the pool area as well as playing room with billiard, table tennis and table football.

Det nyrenoverede 4-stjernede Hotel Baia Azul ligger ideelt, 4 minutters gang fra stranden i Funchal. Awsome breakfast and service personals were very nice.

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Appreciate specially arranged room upgrade. The staff was super kind and helpful, thanks to each and every one that made our stay memorable. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of both cold and hot options, as well as gluten free options which is also highly appreciated. Would come back and recommend to others.
