Miguel was the ultimate host. He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

Great central location, 5 minute walk down to the sea, activities, restaurants etc. The hotel is fresh, clean, has a roof top pool and bar for the moments when you aren’t sightseeing. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Fab buffet breakfast.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. The place is lovely, very private and calm. It's so beautiful there. The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. We stayed in 4 places douring our trip and I'm confident in saying this was the BEST one!! + There's a lonely kitty

大西洋に面した崖の上に建つデザインホテルで、改装された伝統的な農家の中にあります。マデイラのサウスコースト沿いにある、Ponta do Solはパノラマのような眺望のあるホットタブと見事なインフィニティプールを併設しています。... Delicious breakfast, exceptional dinner and an infinite pool. For breakfast, you could choose from 5-6 warm meals (eggs, French toast, asparagus..) and a cold buffet (from cereals, croissants and local cheese to pastel de nata). The portions from the menu were smaller but in combination with the cold buffet, the breakfast was just awesome! We stayed in the with the "garden view ", however we could still see and hear the sea. The view was stunning.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Our stay at this hotel in Madeira was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful — from the architecture to the gardens and the breathtaking views all around. The room was tastefully decorated, every detail, from the design to the little touches, added to the overall charm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and what really stood out was the service — friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. We felt completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, nature, and peace. Truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

4つ星のHotel Baía Azulは、フンシャルのビーチフロントに近い理想的なロケーションにあり、大西洋を見渡せるサンデッキ付きの屋外プールを併設しています。客室はエアコン完備で、バルコニー（家具付）に面しています。 客室から山または海を望め、専用バスルーム（バスアメニティ付）、ケーブルテレビ、ミニバーが備わります。 Hotel Baía... 空港からのバス停の停車駅。市内へのアクセスのためのバス停からも近い。スタッフはフレンドリーでウェルカムドリンクとしてポートワインをいただいた。テラスで日光浴できて快適でした。ただジムやプールなどが24hではないので、夜更かしする人は施設のオープンしている時間をチェックした方がいいです。朝ごはんの種類がとても充実していたし、早く行くと海沿いのテラス席に座れるので、お勧めします。

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. When I realized I had forgotten my phone charger at my hotel in Lisbon and started to panic, the staff kindly let me use the reception area to charge my phone. I was truly saved — I do really thank the wonderful female staff member enough for her kindness!
