The Brukenthal is a stately palace from 1788, formerly used as the summer residence of Transylvanian Baron Samuel von Brukenthal. Everything, the domain is absolutly wonderful and deserves to spend more days there, u will not get bored. I guess in summer the swimming pool is also open (we have been there in May, and it was not filled up yet) Also, a nice surprise it was the kids playground, I did not expect to have such thing there :)

Located in Cisnadioara, 12 km from Union Square, Pensiunea Gasthof Michelsberg has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. The accommodation is amazing! We and our labrador companion enjoyed every second there. Great breakfast with fresh veggies and local food! We enjoyed the pool as well! Great backyard with plenty of space for barbeque for multiple groups. The photos don't do justice to this location! For sure we'll get back there for the accommodation and for the Cisnadioara itself!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Porumbacu de Sus, Porumbacu381 - Casa de Oaspeti Faini is a country house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. Such a beautiful place in a special area. The place is completely new, run by a young couple and you can see in every room how much effort they put it. So many nice details besides the quality chosen. We loved everything about it and we wish we could've stayed longer!

The restaurant offers an acceptable selection, with a limited menu that nonetheless covers the essentials for a 2-3 night stay. Breakfast is abundant and very fresh. We also took advantage of the SPA, with extra payment, enjoying the sauna and heated hot tub with total privacy. Friendly animals like dogs, cats, and ducks added a charming touch to the outdoor relaxation area. The owner is very kind and clearly has excellent taste. Compliments to the team! We hope to return in the coming years.

Very nice location, with very few buildings nearby. Our room was great and had a big balcony with a nice view of the mountains. The stuff was very friendly and attentive. Food was great.
