Domnu Ion was very courteous. We came late after check in time. He was understanding and he opened his doors to us when no one else would. The apartment was neat, tidy, clean, had all amenities you need, and was very much needed after a full day of traveling on the road. Domnu Ion was knowledgeable about everything!

Complete with a garden and a bar, Cataleya House is located in Oeşti-Pămînteni, 18 km from Vidraru Dam and 37 km from Cozia AquaPark. Superb customer service, really helpful especially in sorting dinner. Lovely room and facilities.

We were 7 people, 3 big Toyotas and 1 dog, we booked same day and it all went amazing, we asked the owners to turn on the heating a bit more for us as we were cold and wet from the weather and they did all that and even went the extra mile and got us some clothes drying racks and we checked in so smooth, everything was ready, everything was working, simply amazing! The house is extremely spacious, modern, immaculately clean, fully equipped, amazing yard, stunning views. Couldn't have asked for more. Will be back. Highly recommended!

The property offers wonderful facilities, including a swimming pool and a charming farm. The owner and his family are genuinely warm and welcoming and it truly feels like they enjoy hosting and sharing their culture and food. Our kids had an amazing time playing around the farm, swimming, petting the farm animals, going on a boat ride around the lake, and playing with all the toys both indoors and outdoors. Meanwhile, we appreciated the chance to unwind after a busy trip around Romania and even managed to catch up on some work in the peaceful surroundings. The village is just 15–20 minutes off the main road of the Transfăgărășan and easily accessible by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are especially grateful for the kind and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and engaging retreat.
