Nice breakfast, lots of coffee machine- no long queues. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean, very good pillows. Good location near Expo, for the old city or Bucharest Therme you can use Bolt which was with reasonable prices.

Set in the heart of Bucharest, InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest offers accommodation in one of the city’s iconic buildings, located next to the Athenaeum. Excellent room. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly. The common areas were beautiful.

This is a lovely place, but the true gem are the owners, they make you feel like a lost friend they waited for years. Truly welcoming, helpful and in a good mood all the time. There is a pool , clean and perfect for a quick refresh . Large bed, good pillows. We also had a great dinner , fresh grill, everything was delicious, we stayed in the beautiful garden until sunset.
