I booked Maison Fimela after travelling in Senegal for two weeks, wanting to end the trip by visiting the UNESCO listed Saloum Delta. I’m very glad I did. This was the best accommodation I stayed in, with the best food and hospitality of the entire trip. The place feels like an oasis for birdwatching, and I especially enjoyed meditating and listening to the birdsongs. Nature focused travellers will love it, and the Saloum Delta itself is not to be missed (although I saw more birds in the lagoon in front of the hotel than during my delta excursion) Chloé was very helpful in organising my excursions and arranging a taxi to the airport. I have no complaints at all and was very happy with my stay.

She is a super gentle and interesting person and she helped us in any possible way organizing the trip etc. we had a great time, the place is beautiful, many birds and extremely well kept. Would fully recommend to stay there if you want to visit the area.

Die Unterkunft La Maison Blanche mit Poolblick in Ndangane bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem Garten und einer Terrasse. Der Gastgeber Joseph ist sehr herzlich und hat mich bei Ankunft zu einem Restaurant mitgenommen und eine Tour durch Delta saloum organisiert. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen!

A very welcoming manager, Ibrahim. He organized tours for us and arranged transport to another hotel. We also felt at home in this hotel, as the excellent chef prepared fresh and delicious meals based on our preferences. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The location is close to the boat dock, where tours to Shell Island are organized. We wish you success!

Everythiiiiing: The owners were adorable, some of the most positive and good-hearted people I ever met. The room/bungalow we had was amazing and very functional. The staff is very nice and caring. The pools were very clean as well as our room. It looked like paradise on Earth. It was so relaxing to be there, I wish we had stayed longer. They took the time to even book us some day trips with some tourist guides they know, and we were not disappointed. They took very good care of us, and we had some unforgettable moments and lifetime experiences. The owners trusted us with the drinks, and we felt like home, just like the meaning of the word KOUNZO. Please take the time to sit and chat with the owners as this is - 1st of all - not a typical cold B&B but rather a big warm international family. 2dly - they are so knowledge of life and have a couple of amazing stories to tell. So get the right spirit while visiting them, not matter if you go with your partner, a group of friends, or your family. We left our hearts there and with eyes full of tears of joy. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

Einzigartige Lage mitten in der Natur, exklusive Unterkünfte (wir waren im Baumhaus 2), sehr leckeres und ausgewähltes Essen, wunderbar angerichtet, freundliches Personal, sehr gepflegte und ästhetische Anlage mit schönem Pool, viele tolle Details (Mosaik in der Reception, Beleuchtung, Bibliothek, ...), Option das Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse zu geniessen. Nachhaltiges Konzept, hoteleigener Kräuter-Garten, ... Die Kinder haben sich sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.
