The hotel is new, extremely clean and comfortable. Sleeep quality is very good. Bathroom is neat, there are variety of consumables even more than most 5* hotels but the sink is a little high for ablution. Breakfast was wonderful, variety of options meets for any taste. Personel was very friendly and helpful, I especially thank MD Hannan from the restaurant staff for his effort to enjoy our breakfast. The location is just one building behind the Mascid Al Nabawi but ladies have to walk a little more. Elevators runs with room cards which is a good thing about security. We definetely recomend this hotel.

    The city is amazing, and modern.

    The city is amazing, and modern. I thought that there would be more traffic, but my rides were smooth. I went in the summer it was kinda hot in the noon and the afternoon, but the weather at night hit in the right spot. There are services everywhere, and people there are open-minded. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMNEND.

    Abu Dhabi is a cultural city — calmer and more laid-back than Dubai — with beautiful greenery, stunning architecture, and an easygoing atmosphere. It’s home to world-class attractions like the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, and the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. I haven’t had the chance to visit the museums or the mosque yet, but they’re high on my list for the future.

    We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. All in all a memorable visit to this part of Saudi Arabia, before we final exit as expats to start our retirement.

    David's service was very good, including various car pick-up services, help to participate in various tourist projects in Aswan, Philae Temple, Abu Simbel Temple, Unknown Obelisk, Rubia Village, Nile Sailing Tour, etc., free breakfast, very good, we hope to stay again next time!

    I wouldn't rate it 5 star hotel at all. 3 star is good for them outside swimming pool 24 hours dirty inside swimming pool only as they saying open only weekend! breakfast u must wait in line for 1 hour to get inside! there are no facility for kids , only kids club and not worth it at all.

    A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The apartment also had a massage chair and had everything that you may require including a stacked fridge, an iron and iron board, electric kettle, utensils, crockery and washing machine etc. A definite value for money for 4 - 5 people and highly recommended.

    The sea was beautiful.

    The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

    It is very close to the Prophet's masjid.

    It is very close to the Prophet's masjid. The moment you step out of the hotel the masjid gate is a few steps away. The only disappoint was, though the booking.com says check-in is at 4pm but the hotel reception displayed a board stating it is 6pm. Also the staff are not friendly and proactive. Does not give much attention or care.

    Amazing arabic culture heritages in a middle of dessert with modern infra in city of Riyadh. Local people are friendly and barely speak English. You can find all shops and restaurants in town. Clearly the KSA is openning up and reforming quickly.
