ItalyWe had a great time at this hotel! The building is beautiful, and we loved how they used stone and kept the original style—it gave the place so much charm and character. Our room was very clean and comfortable, which made us feel relaxed right away. But the best part was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, polite, and kind. They really made us feel at home and looked after us so well. We would definitely love to come back!

GermanyLuxury was like an oasis in the Sevan city. Our room had a lot of space with a modern design, a double bed, and air conditioning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the breakfast and the lovely garden. The owners organised a day tour that was great, taking us to the national park, a monastery, a church, and the centre of Delijan. The owners were very kind and helpful, making our experience truly memorable.

BelgiumThe place is very well organised and you have stunning views of Lake Sevan. We just stayed one night so difficult to rate all features of this place but we were very satisfied with our choice. The guesthouse for 4 people was clean and warm featuring a French window overlooking the lake, it had everything we needed. There was an option to order breakfast which we didn't use.

UkraineMy room was actually a small apartment with a bathroom and kitchen. The hotel is located right at the lake shore and has its own beach facilities. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. It's worth keeping in mind that the nearest grocery shop is almost 2 km away, but the hosts will gladly cook meals for you at affordable prices. The nature is the area is just amazing!

A very beautiful place to visit if you're already in Armenia, but I wouldn't recommend making a trip solely for this destination. Keep in mind that selecting your lodging, hotel, or entertainment options carefully is important, as your choices can greatly influence whether you have an excellent or disappointing experience during your stay. Liked · The location of White Shorja is great. The little wooden cabins are located around the green forest area, which separates the private cabin space from the shore. The shore is within few steps from the whole residential area. There's also some music playing with a stage, right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is very cozy and sells drinks, food and overall is a good hangout area. Staff is very kind, however they lack training. There's discrepancy between the info given, such as exact breakfast time, which also usually is not the typical time such as starting breakfast at 10am. Disliked · The advertisement on the booking and what you actually get may vary. Some cabins have a shower and toilet facilities, some others don't. The price variance is very unclear as well, seems they get all sold under the flat price, however some toilet facilities have lesser conveniences. Cabins for 2 and 4 also priced equally, which is a big marketing gap and may put off tourists like, considered as a trap. Less space inside, no possibility to open the windows for the night. Lots of midgets and mosquitoes at night , so a screen on the door or window (the ones that open) would have made a difference. Our lodge bathroom wasn't very clean, the toilet paper wasn't provided. The garbage outside of the lodge hadn't been emptied until asked. The booking site shows bbq facilities, which our cabin had, however until we arrived we didn't know bbq isn't allowed, neither your own food. The restaurant sells its own food with triple the prices. The breakfast isn't typical Armenian, such as rice in the morning or no sweet offerings to tea and coffee, which Armenia has in abundance everywhere else. Very interesting place.
Very interesting place. The views of Sevan lake are stunning and the personnel is nice and accommodating. However you must be prepared for the neglected state of the property, it looks it was not renovated since it was build in 1963. I have a sort of nostalgie for Soviet life style. We did not visit Sevan (city), but some spots around Sevan lake. Armenia offers a number of places that are really majestic: the view on the lake, with the snowy mountains in the background, and the Sevanavank monastery, all within strong winds... The monasteries closed to Dilijan are also very beautiful, in the woods, surrounded by mountains... We visited also the monastery of Hayravank, and the (huge) cementery of Noradouz - all places I recommend to stop by. We did this trip in an afternoon, with a driver recommended by the Hotel Lavash. It was definitely too cold to swim in the cold (we even had a small snow storm that covered the beach in a few minutes... :) ), so i cant say much about this!Guest review byEliseAustria
