We have been here only for 1 day, but the location is superb, parking is easy. Also you can charge your electric car, the staff can help you with that. The Hotel is almost next to the town, you can access it by walk or even with a Tier or some scooter.
Receptionist and the staff were very helpfull and kind. The room was nice, and clean, with proper equipment. The pool and sauna also great. Breakfast has a lot of options, and wide variety of stuff. Gluten intolerance people can have a nice breakfast too. Dinner is from the menu, not swedish style so it will take more time to serve you. If you want to visit the town or do some walking after dinner it is good to start dinner early.

Absolutely fantastic very special hotel situated right on the lake shore with breathtaking view, authentic design - you feel like you step into museum, amazing atmosphere, I would call it “boutique” hotel. Fortunately we got the same room where once the younger brother of the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I stayed!
Great staff, kind, friendly and helpful! Delicious breakfast offering even sparkling wine! We enjoyed sauna and steam bath following lake swim as well. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and calm location, all rooms facing the lake. The meals were amazing, every evening something different, something special for dinner in beautiful creations, breakfast had also various delights.
The sauna area is great, with lots of comfortable beds for relaxation, the sauna at the lake is especially enjoyable when the sun is setting. Staff is super nice!

Great skiing resort.
Great skiing resort. Many ski-lifts and pistes to explore and they are all well prepared. The pistes are not too difficult, most of them are of medium difficulty, but there are also some pistes suited for learning skiers.
There is also a possibility to trek to the nearest peaks with or without the help of ski-lifts.
The wellness is also great with an outside heated pool from where you can see the ski pistes.
The area is well suited for families since it is peaceful and quiet.

Nice apartment. Excellent location near the cable car, next to a grocery store and a bike rental with good prices. In the summer, I recommend e-bikes. I rented one on Saturday evening and returned it on Monday morning because they are closed on Sundays. The discount card is great – free cable cars and saunas at the BergHof hotel are included.
The issue with the fridge was resolved within 30 minutes after calling. In the summer, we recommend archery, the alpine coaster, rope park, e-bikes, and hiking.

We caught the train from Pritswich to Portschach which was a very short journey. Their timetables at the station/collection points are so easy to understand. Portschach is a very picturesque place. The houses looked very clean adorned with flowers, very tidy streets. People are very friendly and the majority spoke English. The food was delicious especially the cakes. There was a park area which took you down to the lake. Also a play area for children. We caught the ferry over to Maria Worth and then later, travelled by ferry to Velden.

I found everyone including taxi drivers , people in restaurants helpful and kind as I was travelling by myself. I went with the purpose of visiting the prisoner of war camp my father was in WW2 and visited the war memorial. The museum was well worth visiting and most helpful.

Picturesque old town with charming timber-framed buildings...
Picturesque old town with charming timber-framed buildings and some lively restaurants serving traditional food. We were only there for one night, but had a nice meal and sat in the lovely square with its fountain and bars.
