United KingdomThis is an excellent hotel. I stayed for one week on a walk in the mountains holiday. The hotel offers an outstanding value half-board option (breakfast and evening meal), which I recommend. They have a lovely system of table allocation. You are shown your table in the restaurant on your first day and this becomes your table for the duration of your stay, breakfast and evening meal. The service staff in the restaurant go the extra mile to ensure everything is to your satisfaction and all speak English to make you feel comfortable.
The room is stylish and comfortable with a very well-equipped bathroom. As a bonus, my room had a balcony with a table and chairs, that offered fantastic views of the mountains, with both impressive sunrises and sunsets.
The owners are involved in the day-to-day management of the hotel, and it shows. If you like good food, comfortable accommodation, fresh air and marvellous mountain walking on your doorstep this is a great choice.

Indiawe had an amazing stay at Christina. The host is very friendly and welcoming. The room is really spacious. They gave us special parking for our motorcycles.
While the breakfast time had not started, the host was kind enough to turn on the coffee machine for us to enjoy it while she would get the breakfast ready. If we visit Seefeld again, we still stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

It's a great place to stay for a winter break.
It's a great place to stay for a winter break. The walking nearby is excellent and the restaurants and facilities in the village offer something for everyone.
The Christmas market had a wonderful atmosphere and it was only 35 minutes by train to Innsbruck for a day out in the city. We won't hesitate to return.

We loved our basic but clean comfy room with a lake view. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced. Dinner a bit disappointing but we walked in late without a reservation. The spa was very nicea very beautiful space, but the water in tubs and pool could have been a bit warmer. I snuggles in my plush robe and had tea instead and had a lovely time in the spa regardless. There will be a next time! We hope to hike a lot more in the area and take the gondola up the mountain and see the lofty heights.

Reith bei Seefeld is a tiny little hamlet outside of Seefeld. While beautiful, the location had nothing to offer itself. It is a short bus ride into Seefeld. We left every day by bike or car to explore other areas.

Great base for exploring the several mountain ranges nearby. Great tourist information centre with helpful staff, a useful train station with trains to/from Innsbruck (and even München in Germany), several supermarkets and a good range of restaurants and cafes.

Pertisau is the location for the (fictional) Chalet School (...
Pertisau is the location for the (fictional) Chalet School (the first book, The School at the Chalet, was published 100 years ago in 1925), so anyone who has read the books will find it instantly recognisable, even today. Even without that link, the Achensee is a wonderful base in which to spend time in the Austrian alps, with plenty to do and see in summer. There are fantastic walks in the area and hotels and guesthouses offer a free travel card which can be upgraded for less than 100 euros to a week-long holiday card offering free travel on the ferries, cable cars and the famous Achenseebahn, as well as free entries to the local museums in Pertisau, Achenkirche and Maurach.

Reith by Seefeld and the surrounding is a magical place with beatiful nature, scenery and a smile on the locals face.
We came with our 2 young daugthers and we found the place fit to our needs.
Great divers between easy and beatiful walks, mountains dramatic panoramas, super cool pool center tasty resturants. All a family needs.

Loved walking the Parish Trail (Pfarrerbichl) with scenic views of the town and lake (and religious interest if so inclined).
Nanni’s had a delicious goulash & apple strudel; Cafe Nouveau had a spicier goulash, even better! Batzenhäus had great local food.
Several good grocery stores in town to use for picnic lunches on hikes.Easy train ride to Mittenwald (ride the Karwendelbahn!) or Innsbruck if the Rosshütte is not appealing to you.

A beautiful unspoiled natural area, lovely welcoming people. The scenery is so stunning. So few British people seem to visit and we don’t understand why! It was lovely in summer, swimming in the lake, and in winter we returned for walking and skiing.
