It was just a magical place, set in a romantic cottage with everything you could possibly need.

Brisbane is a nice city, especially in terms of the weather, the cleanliness and the friendliness of Brisbanites. Birsbane has become much more multicultural than in the 90s and there are many ethnic shops, restaurants and multicultural events to accommodate travellers and international students from around the world.
So come down under and don't just visit Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. There are many hidden gems in the interiors of Australia, the beautiful red earth and the vastness and emptiness of outback Queensland and Australia is something you will not find elsewhere. And it is generally very safe!!

The weather in Cairns was hot and humid, but the region’s beaches and rainforest were beautiful. We enjoyed the Kuranda Scenic Railway despite the heat in the carriage. The Skyrail was a highlight, offering stunning views and unique things to explore at each stop.

We loved the vibe there, we came for the music festival but stayed for 9 days as seemed a shame not to take in some cruises, can recommend the Camira, but make sure you don’t have mobility issues
The stunning views over the bay and the Islands are fantastic whatever the weather, the board walk and the esplanade are really lovely.
Loved KC’S with live music every night
Handy having a woolies, bottle shop and pharmacy right in town
We were a bit unprepared for the restaurant and bar prices

Townsville is a fantastic destination with a relaxed coastal vibe, beautiful weather, and plenty to see and do. The Strand is a highlight — perfect for walking, dining, and enjoying ocean views. There are great cafes, easy access to Magnetic Island, and everything feels close and convenient. A really enjoyable place to visit and unwind.

I love the main shopping centre in Toowoomba. We also enjoyed dinner at the Chinese Garden Restaurant in Ruthven Street. Reasonable prices and delicious food. We go there every time we stay overnight in Toowoomba.

It's a beautiful location with lots of cafes, lovely walks and stunning beaches. The water inside the bar is very safe especially for little children. If you want more excitement in the water you have the option of the ocean on the other side of the bar.

Mackay is a beautiful coastal spot, I'm planning another trip there soon. We visited the Marina, and did some shopping at Canelands. We attended an Engagement party with family there and the venue was beautifully set up, staff were so friendly and the weather was beautiful for a swim and fish and chips.
