CanadaFleur de Ville is a lovely hotel with great staff, nice ambience and a wonderful location close to transportation links and many restaurants. We used it as a base for 7 days and used the Central Station to visit Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp. The hotel is located in an historical building with large well appointed rooms. Prices in the well stocked mini bar were reasonable. Our room faced the street but we found it to be quiet. There is a lovely breakfast room and lounge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

PortugalThe location is undeniably top in Brussels for both business and leisure. The Louise area is upscale, friendly, safe and well-served in all aspects ranging from commerce to transportation. The stay was so comfortable and familiar that it evoked the good old days when I lived in the area. The accommodation per se was an excellent junior suite that in effect is a well equipped apartment, decorated with clean modern classy touches, well soundproofed for extremely quiet peace of mind, whilst also endowed with plenty of natural light and spacious airy feel when opening the curtains and huge glass panels to the inspiring vibrant city outside. While I was on business with limited time to relax, it was a blessing to contemplate the gentle snowfall and sit after hectic conference days going through several of the great books present in the living room and bedroom for a nice relaxing and instructive read. Even so, make no mistake as this is not just an apartment: it is set on a fully-serviced hotel, whose excellent staff provided the exceptional care of upscale hotel service: highly attentive to one's needs, and aptly fulfilling them with utmost professionalism, which is highly appreciated. This place encapsulates the quality and rigor of a grand hotel packaged in a discrete, cozy boutique hotel, a home away from home. The flexibility and independence of fully equipped accommodations with the exceptional service and care of professional hoteliers. At this place, I found a well integrated solution that meets the best of both hotel and apartment/home concepts. With a team that is always there for you, always highly responsive, composed and caring, always striving to do their best. As far as I am concerned, they succeeded with flying colors in all aspects, hence I unreservedly grant them the highest marks. Thank you very much and Best Wishes!

It is a very large and well-equipped hotel, and the best thing is that it is very affordable for the facilities it offers. It is extremely comfortable, the rooms are large, and for an additional fee you can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Its location is very convenient for walking to the main attractions (15 minutes from Grote Mark) and 10 minutes from one of Brussels' main train stations). You also have the tram at 2 minutes). Staff was very attentive and kind.

The room was very clean and I felt safe in the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. Location was great - very close to the city center but not exactly there so the noise in night was not so strong. In the room was everything needed for few days stay. Very good rate value for money. I suggest it for short stay in Brussels. If available, I will book it again when in Brussels.

New hotel with very friendly staff. Manuel the manager was super nice to us, the room was very comfortable, everything was nice and clean. Loved the different lighting in the room, the eco-friendliness and the smell of the hand soap. Location is walking distance from the main attractions of the city and yet quiet.

Perhaps because it's a large European city, I couldn't feel a sense of belonging to the city or to Belgium here. Connecting with Belgian culture and getting an idea of the local customs was difficult due to the demographic mix. Although the Gothic architecture is ideal for cultural events, I didn't feel safe outside the tourist areas of the city. I think the close proximity of tourist areas and neighborhoods also contributed to this.

It’s just a big city, kind of gritty and a big melting pot of all types of people and languages. Didn’t feel especially Belgian. Way, way too many people to enjoy the Christmas markets, which felt more like a carnival than a Christmas market, with hip hop music playing throughout.
The chocolate is indeed delicious. I would not say the same for the Belgian fries or the waffles- pretty basic at most of the places we ate at.

Brussels is for two days most, during Christmas period. Spend the rest of the days to visit Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp or any other place of your choice. Otherwise, it's full of rude people that see only the phone screens while walking... Magrite museum was good, Frites Atelier was better. Belgian beers are boring, but that's just me.
