The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped. The staff both on reception and in the restaurant were kind and always willing to help.

Super hotel! Great room decor - purple ceiling, light green walls, wood floor, black cupboards and bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Friendly efficient staff. Breakfast with yummy French toast made with sour cream and fresh berries. No real restaurant but they can serve a selection of light snacks including delicious flammkuchen. Amazingly quiet despite the busy location. A bit out of the way with no recommended restaurants nearby but with a tram stop right outside and well worth the slight inconvenience - and they compensate by giving a free tram and bus pass for the duration of your stay. Highly recommended!!!
AND they have bicycles you can use for free and free coffee, tea and cakes (almost) all day!!

Great location, just few minutes walk to the train station. It's an old hotel but the room is very clean and nice. Staff are all very friendly. Have a nice mini bar that you can always get some drinks there.
Breakfast is also nice, not very big but has enough choices especially fruits.

The hotel has a great location, near the tram station or 15 min walking to acces the Mittlere Brucke. The room was very clean, you have everything you need for a short trip to Basel. I recommend this place, it's worth for the price.

He got candies, 2 bowls, a blanket and a towel.

Location was excellent, city trumps were almost at the door. Restaurant had good quality food and the breakfast was wonderful.
The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport which makes it easy to plan the travel.

Great location, strolling around the pedestrian streets is so pleasant: even without plans there are theatres, museums and cinemas popping up before you. Yet rooms are soundproof and comfortable.

Basel is very easy to navigate.
Basel is very easy to navigate. You can quickly reach every point and landmark in the city. Public transport is very well organized, there are always places to sit. The proverbial Swiss punctuality is exactly as they describe it. In the central part, most of the landmarks are within walking distance. The surrounding environment in the city is very calm and there is no traffic of cars or people.

We were there to catch a river cruise for the Christmas...
We were there to catch a river cruise for the Christmas markets. It was one of the best places we stayed on our 5 week trip around northern Europe. The tram system is easy to navigate. Very clean and if you stay near the river, you are close to everything. They had great restaurants and an awesome roof top bar ( B1 roof top bar ) just a short tram ride away from the center of the city.
