EgyptThe hotel is either new or newly refurnished with a very nice modern style. The room was spacious and big enough for 3 adults with 3 large luggages. The whole hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was included in our package and included many varieties. Also, the timing of the breakfast was very convenient. It’s till 10:30 am on all days except Sunday till 11 am which gave us the opportunity to wake up late.
We loved the location too.
It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and you can get beach towels at the reception. Saint Lazarus church is 10 minutes walking. Also, there are many shops, restaurants and bars around the hotel so we didn’t need to use public transportation a-lot.
What we really loved about the hotel was the friendly abd helpful staff. They accommodated all our requests and even helped us organize places to visit.
We’ll surely return again.

Capo Bay is a wonderful place! The rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel itself is a dream. Lots of loungers and umbrellas and you can pop down to the beach whenever you want. The adults only section is great as well. The drinks and food are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I used the gym and was really surprised at how big it was and has almost everything you need. The big thing that stood out for us was the use of a complimentary room to shower in before we caught our flight. We had to check out but our flight wasn't until 9pm that evening so being able to freshen up before heading to the airport was the best thing ever!

I recently stayed at Elysium Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. My room was luxurious and comfortable, with beautiful decor and stunning views( in front of the sea).
The dining options were excellent. Just try the Italian one ( a bit expensive but really good!) and a delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel's facilities, including the spa and outdoor pool, were exceptional and provided a relaxing retreat.
Overall, Elysium Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

We got an upgrade to a king Suite which was absolutely amazing!! The views from the hotel and our room to the sea is really stunning.
We couldn’t be more comfortable in that Suite, the service from the whole staff was excellent, very kind and polite, and considering the big amount of people now in August, they manage to very well everything to don’t feel uncomfortable because of that.
Food was delicious, never miss anything, with different options for restaurants and we were surprise that even being at full capacity it was very quiet.

The Location is great, stuffs are nice, I arrived earlier morning, they gave me half day earlier check in. then I was able to upgrade an ocean view room. I was late to getting back for dinner, last mins, they still let me in, they wait for me finished the dinner to close the restaurant. They were very patience with my question into local knowledge.

Wonderful hotel! Stuff were very kind and helpfull. I was with my family and we had great time! There are a lot of things for children and babies to play. Hotel is very clean, a lot of different spot to relax. Food was delicios with various offer for breakfast and dinner.

The Staff were the standout in the hotel. Nothing was too much for them. From the door man paying a taxi for me because I didn't have cash on me, to the staff in the restaurant bringing me a glass of wine on my last evening. They really where exceptional.

Its a lovely place to visit.
Its a lovely place to visit. We stayed near the Tomb of the Kings which was a fascinating site to visit. Also close to the new broadwalk which was really lovely and took us into Paphos harbour beside the archaeological site and the castle. Lovely restaurants and relaxing walk. A walk upto the old town was also fascinating although not ancient had lovely walkways and interesting shops to view. Great views from the highest point overlooking Paphos. We would definitely go back.

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer.
Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though.

Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed).
There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus.
Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

We travelled in November which is out of season and therefore it was very quiet with the majority of the bars and restaurants on the main strip being closed. We were closer to Kapparis where ample bars and restaurants remained open. We had no complaints.

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car.
Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly.
You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors.
In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. There are many small streets to stroll around.
There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers.
You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel.
We also took a short drive to Lefkara dam at sunset- if you want o hear th sound of silence, you can find it there.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.
Well organized beyond to what meets the eye.
Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area.
There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. We were sorry to miss Joseph the manager when we left., he was most friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you Joseph!
