Customer Relations organized an excellent west bank tour with an excellent driver (Maged) and excellent tour guide (Michael). He explained in detail the meaning of the various depictions and history of the historical sites. We felt comfortable and well-informed.

The staff were very helpful as well, except for the breakfast maître d. This guy was incredibly condescending and patronizing. Everybody else was amazing!

AustraliaBeautiful hotel and pool. Rooms were very spacious and clean with high ceilings and beautiful wall art. Bathrooms very clean and spacious too. Upstairs is a restaurant with amazing food. All staff were so hospitable and welcoming, it felt like coming home to long lost family. Special shoutout to Abdullah who catered to our every need and question and also to Yousef who ran the restaurant, bringing wonderful customer service and food. Will definitely be staying here again when we return to Luxor.

Everything. Most of all the staff. Karin the manager was a great help in organising our transfer from Hurghada and arranging some medicine when I got a stomach bug (from Hurghada not here). All the staff were so friendly and helpful and that will be our biggest memory from our trip. They arranged river crossings, taxis, a wonderful tour and took care of our every need.
The terrace from the rooftop restaurant is great and we had the warm pool to ourselves most of the time.
A big thank you to everyone for a great stay. Great value for money and highly recommended. We will be back to visit Aswan.

Honestly, I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this hotel and its staff totally deserve a shoutout for their awesome service. Let me tell you, the place was clean and cozy. But what really made our stay top-notch was the staff—they were absolutely fantastic.
I gotta give a special shoutout to the owner's son. This guy went the extra mile to make us feel right at home. He'd show us around, and sometimes he'd even tag along to make sure we got the local prices. Talk about dedication, right? If you're looking for a place on the West Bank side of Luxor, I 100% recommend staying here.

If you are looking for history, Luxor is the place to be.
If you are looking for history, Luxor is the place to be. Depending on your interests, you can spend a day and a half or more. We arrived in the afternoon, chilled, and then saw the light and sound show at the Karnal temple. The next day, we took a 7-hour private guided tour with lunch, accompanied by an excellent guide. That was sufficient for us. After relaxing in the evening, we left for Cairo. It was time well spent.

It was great to see the historical sites.
It was great to see the historical sites. However, it is a very dirty city. There were piles of garbage and horse droppings everywhere. Taxi drivers and sellers charge prices 3 times higher than normal and push hard for sales. It was tedious.

Luxor is a very relaxed city with lots of historical sites...
Luxor is a very relaxed city with lots of historical sites to visit! People are much more relaxed than Cairo, and they are very friendly and helpful too. There are many other ancient Egyptian sites within driving distance from Luxor that’s not the main stream tourists spots. Tips: always have small notes of EGP with you for tipping!
