Modern room, good standard, a real balcony big enough for two or three people to enjoy with square views, double bed with good quality madras,big shower, nice bathroom and in all a very positive stay😃. There was also a nice big terrass with views on the fifth floor. We did not expect all this for such a good price! And never forget the staff working, absolutely lovely, so helpful and full with energy and a true will to help. Thanks Veronica (and all the others:))

There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention, they were so helpful and professional and they all seemed to speak excellent English. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didn't dine in the restaurant but breakfast was very good, and the bar area had great service and plenty of seating. We would certainly stay there again.

The front desk staff were all super friendly and professional, making me feel very welcome. My room was incredibly spacious, with an amazing bathroom—and I was so happy to have a bathtub! Best of all, the view of Toledo from my window was absolutely unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!P.S. When the elevator wasn’t working from the 3rd to the 2nd floor, one of the cleaning staff immediately helped carry my suitcase down the stairs. She was amazing—such great service!

Really beautifully located near the bridge over the valley which connects the old city of Cuenca. The parador has a swimming pool and indoor carpark. The courtyard is a perfect place to have a drink or bite. The room, my daughter and I occupied, was really spacious with a separate bathroom and doors separating the areas creating a small hallway. The sauna was also very comfortable after a day of walking around the old town and nature around it.

Arriving at the Alarcon village was like something out of a story book with the castle being the main character. It was such a treat to stay in a building so beautifully preserved. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and warm and the food at the restaurant was excellent. If your budget allows it, book your stay in the tower for the whole experience. Alarcón is a pretty village with a selection of restaurants and bars.

Totally out of ordinary hotel night experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Food was great for the tired travellers. The location, privacy and the views are unforgettable for anybody. Originally a remote luxury hunting lodge at high altitude turned into a very unique, green small resort.

The old town was really interesting but pretty hilly. There is a good bus service but the rail service from Madrid is not very frequent and you need to book in advance. On the last day we discovered a supermarket in the town centre (the Mercado Municipal at Pl. Mayor) which would have been very useful to know about before that.

We liked the size of the place.
We liked the size of the place. It was just right for us to look around in the time we had. We loved the old charm and the amazing buildings. The cathedral lit up in the evening sunshine and we sat in a beautiful courtyard looking out over wonderful views. The hanging houses were a sight to behold even though I had to walk out onto a scary bridge to get a photograph!

The city springs to life during the first two weeks in september: Feria de Albacete - a bit like the spanish version of the "Oktoberfest in Munich".
A leasurely walk through the city will take half a day on flat terrain. Since Albacete is famous for knife production don´t miss the Knife Museum.

understated and often overlooked, but Ciudad Real is really a gem. A lot of interesting museum (tho, some unfortunately couldnt take pictures of), a lot to enjoy in the city itself and even for day trips, you have cool options to Almagro or Damiel too. Vote for Ciudad Real city for being amazing

The rustic house was full of original features and had great views, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Lovely views over Alcala. Bonus to find it had a little beach area next to the river, very safe for young children.
If you had mobility issues, bear in mind some if the streets are cobbled and on varying levels.
Very good place to take lovely walks along the river.
Castle and cave houses are worth a visit, we enjoyed meals at Fongones el Chato, Los Robles and Taperia el Chato.
Great adventure area for young people, kayaking, paddle surf.

This would be a great place to stay if you had business to do in Valdepenas or, like us, you wanted a place to break your journey on your way to Andalucia. The kitchen was very well equipped so we ate in our apartment as the weather was extremely wet. The town is centred around wine production and it would be a great place for wine lovers.

Siguenza is a fascinating historic town with lots of ancient buildings. It is small but that makes it ideal for strolling around. There are lots of bars and cafes and the quality of the restaurants we tried was excellent. Highly recommended

The town centre was quite compact and flat for pedestrians. There was no tourist office that we could find so we relied on leaflets from our hotel although there were a few good on line sites which gave good information. There were a few good winery shops on the outskirts of town where it was possible to buy the local wine direct from the producers. There are museums in the area that should be visited if you get the chance but most require a car journey. The main plaza was very well done and had a few cafes and bars around it but we didn’t enjoy the busy motor traffic.
