SwitzerlandIt was a great comfortable stay at the hotel. Great staff at the reception and very helpful with all inquiries. The room was super comfy with all amenities that one might need. I also liked the swimming pool BUT I would have liked to have umbrellas for shade and for the pool to be open after 8 pm (it was light until at least 9/10 pm). Also, loved the restaurant Alea they have in the hotel, so delicious!

The room was well furnished and very comfortable. the View was of the old post-office (heritage building). The restaurant downstairs is great to get a drink and have some olives. The restaurant staff were very friendly. 6-10 min walk from the train station, or a 10Euro taxi.

I booked this hotel for a rest with my daughter during the holidays. It is a beautiful hotel with a long history. It was founded in 1909 and has retained its identity, imbued with the entire history of France, from royalty to the present day. The room is typically French small, but has all the facilities for a stay including a very comfortable bed.
We ordered breakfast in the room and they brought us very fresh and delicious pastries, starting with fresh baguettes in various types, croissants, and other famous French buns. Even if we had no desire to eat, it was impossible not to be tempted. :))
We had dinner at the restaurant and also celebrated my birthday. The cuisine exceeded my expectations, with very refined and beautifully presented dishes. And most importantly - it was delicious! Thank you very much to the chef!
Used the sauna as well, it was mostly very quiet and we were able to relax.
In front of the hotel is Grand beach, a lovely bay, and a shore for swimming and relaxing.

Aranxa, the owner, made us extremely welcome. We had a lovely room with a terrace and view of the ocean. The location was perfect for anyone with their own transport. We had use of the garden and kitchen facilities. Within easy reach of fantastic beaches, pretty villages and an amazing bird sanctuary. An extremely relaxing experience and highly recommendable.

We expected a beautiful place to stay in the countryside, but Casa Rural Jesuskoa exceeded our expectations. Excellent rooms, a big attic with books, quiet music, and comfy armchairs.
Both breakfast and dinner were marvelous; we didn't expect such quality.

15 mis by bus into City centre and bus stop virtually outside front gate. Saved trying to find parking. Room was great with comfortable bed. We had bush view on ground level. Perfect.

The rooms are very comfortable, with a nice balcony. The hotel is right next to the beach, with a number of restaurants. The staff members are very friendly. They have helped us call a taxi to go back to town the day of checkout--an effort that we have really appreciated.

Maddiola was the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The location was incredible with breathtaking views and sunsets, the architecture was rustic and really pretty. The place was very peaceful. The staff was friendly and we had a great stay.

The old historic town was the purpose of the stop over which didn't disappoint. Food and atmosphere was amazing, the Sport Bar was the highlight and main reason with its amazing pintxos. it was a revisit after 13 years with the boys being a bit older but still remember their first visit. We did sample some other eateries and the food was equally as good. just wish we had more time.
On a downer, wish we had prior warning of the LEZ tourist permission required prior to check-in at our hotel in the old quarter.

The cleanliness of the streets, the lively spirit of the residents, architecture from French colonial days were some of the unforgettable aspects. In off season, some restaurants are not open or on hiatus, but there were enough good quality establishments. Walking tours are easy, if you are ready for stairs and inclines here and there.

Lots of lovely restaurants and shops, beautiful squares to sit and drink coffee/wine in, and plenty going on. Can't recommend highly enough for a couple of days, and so easy to get in and out of the airport. Wish we'd had longer!

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a very pleasant little town on the South-west coast of France. Its beach is nicely sheltered from the wild Bay of Biscay, making it safe and attractive. We stayed in a central hotel with easy access to some lovely bars and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine. It's an easy drive into the countryside; we climbed a mountain called Larrun, part of the Pyrenees, then easily back to St Jean de Luz for a swim and out for dinner! Also some good local shops.

Plus, with today's technology and the WiFi is non existant. On my first night I was not given WiFi. They were correct. Its less than 1 bar and you cannot stream. I would not stay again

Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

Zarautz is an impossibly quaint, clean, and beautiful town with one of the best surfing beaches in Spain, and possibly Europe. It is a town that is so picturesque it could be in its own movie. The shops are beautiful and tasteful. The restaurants serve some of the best food I've ever tasted. And the beach is huge and absolutely stunning. Everywhere you turn you are rewarded by a beautiful view.

Our 3rd visit to Hondarribia. Wonderful historic centre. Great beach area. Unique in that there is a little boat that crosses to France in 7 mins. Many restaurants and bars. Can be very lively, particularly during festivals.

The beaches and harbour were lovely.
The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available.
Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.
