CroatiaSituated directly in the beautiful historic square in the heart of the Old Las Palmas, Plaza de Santa Ana, literally just a few steps away from the eponymous cathedral, and practically around the corner from the Casa de Colón, this boutique hotel generously gives its guests the royal treatment. I stayed in room 28, above the ground floor, which was large and elegant, with massive windows and a dizzyingly high ceiling. The little restaurant where I had my breakfast looked like an art gallery with its tastefully designed tables, chairs and tableware, old-fashioned cupboards, and a collection of antique vases on display. The view from the rooftop terrace was nothing short of spectacular. Befitting the hotel's name, the staff were incredibly cordial indeed. The enchanting Playa de Las Canteras, covered with its world-renowned fine golden sand, is about 5.5 km away.

Year-Round Sun, Sea and Surf
The wonderful, year-round climate, great beaches and lively nightlife make Gran Canaria a popular choice for beach holidays in the Canaries. All of these elements are found in Playa del Inglès, the island’s liveliest resort. The water along the sandy beach offer great surfing conditions, as do those at neighbouring Maspalomas.
Large areas of Gran Canaria are of ecological importance and the incredible Maspalomas sand dunes are no exception. Other nature reserves are the forests of the mountainous centre of the island near San Bartolomé. Nearby Agüimes - a peaceful town known for its cave houses – is a short transfer from Gran Canaria Airport.
Visitors also arrive at the island by ferry to Las Palmas, the capital city which sweeps around a narrow piece of land ending in a mountain. Booking.com has a good range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Gran Canaria, but the greatest concentration are in Puerto Rico, a family-friendly resort with 2 beautiful, horseshoe-shaped bays and the Atlantida waterpark.
Also offering a selection of Gran Canaria hotels for families is Puerto de Mogan, known as ‘Little Venice’ because of its canals. Nestled in the volcanic landscape just along the coast is small Playa Taurito, one of many resorts with hotels with waterslides.

Everything was fine. This is a true hotel for families to stay with kids. Small houses are equipped with everything you need. There is big supermarket SuperDino close to hotel where you can buy something to eat also there is outstanding promenade following to ocean where you can find a lot of restaurants, shops etc. Hotel management provided us a very late checkout. We stayed till late evening and even they allowed us to stay in our house till end of the day absolutely for free as seems to be nobody booked our room for this date. This was totally unexpected and we were really impressed by hotel hospitality!

Great Parador for a break on the camino !
The village of Cruz de Tejeda is small, only 2 accommodation options.
It is welcoming for all pilgrins.
It’s not cheap, but de rooms are good - very clean and spatious. Also the Spa service are great for a relaxing afternoon.
🎟️ Booking in advance is mandatory.
You can stamp your credentials there.
Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, it's the second year me and my wife are booking this hotel and doesn't disappoint!
The location is perfect at just 5-6 min walking from the beach and with many bars and restaurants around to explore. Also a super market just up the street. Easy to get to the bus station as well, at only a couple minutes away.

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to maspalomas dunes. The only downside is steps, although the is lift further now the promenade( didn’t use it). Playa del ingles is family friendly without full nudity; for full nudity need to walk around 20 mins down the dunes.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains.
We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible.
The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.

A quiet lovely place with stunning flower lined narrow streets, and a relaxing place to stay, lovely beach and harbour front with loads of excellent restaurants, there are a few small bars as well. All in all a beautiful relaxing safe place for a holiday 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming.
We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

We spent most of our time in Puerto de Las Nieves which is just down from Agaete. Puerto de Las Nieves is a lovely little port with plenty of places to eat and a small but well stocked Spar. The views all around are spectacular, out to sea (fabulous sunsets) and up and across Mountain views. we would definitely return to this area.

The view is amazing and literally enjoy the sound of tide in the balcony. If you want to have a break time to stay away from the hectic city. It would be a right place to relax. It's nice there is food theme for the meal every day. Food could be better if it is less greasy based on the diet perference.

Breakfast was the best.
Breakfast was the best. There was nothing caused us any issues. We ate in the hotel and the food was good value for money. The shopping centre next door is well worth a visit, with loads of big name shops.
