The location of the hotel was convenient to parking but at the same time central. Tourist attractions were nearby. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay.

Canadathe hotel is relatively new but it’s really everything you need in a stay. the space, the shower with hot water & strong shower, great ventilation, a lovely sink, & comfortable bed. the a/c worked great. it’s about 5 mins from Plaça dels Pins where you’ll likely take the bus to other parts of the island. or 11 mins from Plaça de la Pau where you’ll take the bus to airport or mahon & other places near there. it’s right in the ciutadella old town. couldn’t have asked for a better location to set up your stay in menorca.

Unhurried life in unspoiled nature
A beautiful Balearic Island, Minorca (or Menorca) has wonderful beaches, sandy coves and a more laid-back atmosphere than its neighbors, Ibiza and Majorca. Featuring the world’s 2nd largest natural harbor, its capital, Mahon, is the center of the nightlife, with several clubs and bars. However, as soon as you head to one of the Menorca resorts, things start to slow down. Punta Prima along the coast has a lovely Blue Flag beach, while the longest beach at Son Bou on the south coast is lined by protected sand dunes. Much of Menorca’s unspoiled beauty is ecologically important, so it’s worth heading inland from the beaches to explore the mountains. The views from the highest peak, Monte Toro, are amazing. Also worth checking out are the "taula," prehistoric megaliths of mysterious origin. Another prehistoric monument is the Naveta tomb near Ciutadella, a city centered around its port, partly lined with walls. Fantastic Cala Blanca and Cala’n Bosch to the south have a nice range of luxury Minorca hotels available on Booking.com, as does curving Cala Galdana where the sea appears almost green. On the more rocky north side of the island, the main resorts are Fornells, a pretty fishing village, and Arenal d’en Castell, home to yet another wonderful horseshoe bay.

I was extremely glad that some one called me back when I arrived at the Son Bou Gardens reception office. The reception office was closed at the time. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and came quickly. She provided me with the keys and gave me a tour of the apartment. I arrived in the off season, so I expected minor problems. I would recommend Son Bou Gardens to other visitors. My advice for over seas visitors, call or send an email before you get there to confirm your reservation to make your arrival more smooth.

Convenient location. Everything is walking distance. Hotel is very accommodating, you don’t have to leave. Super market steps away from hotel. Rooms have everything you need. Restaurants are 5-10min walk. If you have a rental plenty of parking. Private entrance to the beach. We opted to stay at the hotel pool, beach gets very crowded. Bar staff makes some of the best mango daiquiris 🤌🏽. Breakfast buffet is massive so worth the price. Hotel is about a 40min drive, it’s cheaper to rent a car vs cabs prices.

The apartment is clean, bright and perfectly suitable for a couple. It offers every commodity from cutlery to towels and the structure is secure and quiet. The location is amazing whether you have a car to explore around or you just simply desire to stay in the nearby cala.
The staff is kind and available and the breakfast comprehends a vast variety of items which tend to change based on the daily availability. Highly recommended for the structure itself but also for quality-price ratio.

Located at the top of Cala Galdana, this smallish resort had plenty for the kids while also being close enough to walk to the town beach or along to the next Cala along the coast. The 2 bed apartment was fine for 2 adults and 2 children, with nice views of and easy access to the pool. Kids mini disco was a huge hit, and the buffet breakfast was good if quite busy. There is noise into the evening if near the pool / bar area but not an issue for us. Staff were great.

Nice little apartment with everything you need. Coffee maker and little kitchen to cook. Great for kids. Pools, splash park and the beach is so close and amazing. We chose a room with a view and it was beautiful. Staff is super friendly.

Mahon is a walkable, pretty and very clean city, with excellent bars, cafes and restaurants. The Museum of Menorca is outstanding. The rest of the island is in easy reach by car. The whole island is beautiful, and a week was just the right amount of time for us to explore it.

There is good entertainment. Many places for good food and drinks. A very nice beach. Cala en Blanes is a very nice and clean place. It is very nice for oldish people. We find it very good as I am 71 and find it very easygoing. We have been to Cala en Blanes approximately for over 10 years. I’m sure we will be going again.

Lovely quiet location and very safe to walk around. Some amazing cafes and restaurants around the harbour side with stunning views to watch the boats and ships pass by to Mahón. All very reasonably priced for superb local food and drink. Made to feel very welcome as a visitor to the area. Usual small local shops to cater for all needs. Charming place and good transport links to airport and Mahón less than 15 minutes away. Highly recommend Es Castell!

Nice place to go for holidays with kids. Easy to get from the airport. Has a few restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets and a pharmacy. Easy commute to other villages by taxi, comfortable and not expensive.

it is a good location if you want to visit the center of Menorca.
I walked around Ferreries; it is absolutely not touristic but you have a number of shops and can find what you want, near or in the center.
One bar even had Guiness, my favorite beer.

It has been 40 years since we visited.
It has been 40 years since we visited. This time with extended family. 1st week at a property that accommodated 8. 2nd week at the Vista Playa 1. Only one very poor failing in both. Neither property provided good wine glasses for drinking good Spanish wine. Glass tumblers are a bad image. Exception - Vista Playa 1 did provide 2 good wine glasses after our request.
One exceptional pleasure was to be accommodated in apartment 0306 with superb views. Many thanks

It was a quiet place very relaxing and beautiful wouldn’t say it’s a party place more for people who are looking for a quiet holiday or with young children the resort has entertainment which was lovely in the evening

Lovely cove with a large beach, with lots of facilities. A few decent places to eat, but as typical for Menorca not lots and lots. Easy to get to Mahon or En Castadel for the night using the friendly Island taxis
