It’s quite far from the city, so it’s ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet by the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and offered a great variety every day. The pool was lovely, and the whole place was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained.

The hotel left a generally very positive impression. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, and the bed linen was changed every 4 days.
The biggest drawback is the lack of a washing machine. The balcony is huge, with a great view, a table, and a sofa — perfect for enjoying the evenings and relaxing. The room has a TV with internet, so you can watch something if you want.
Unfortunately, the reception staff don’t always speak even basic English, which made communication a bit uncomfortable. A translator sometimes helps, but you don’t always want to rely on it for every small issue.
The kitchen has a minimal set of utensils, and there’s no oven, so it’s impossible to cook something like pizza. Dust isn’t cleaned everywhere — in the far upper corners there were a few centimeters of dust.
Overall, despite minor drawbacks, this is an excellent hotel for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast was a varied buffet, it was fresh and a mix of fruit, healthy yogurt, granola, nuts and hot food. Plenty supply as it never ran out.
The location was excellent 2 minutes to beach and restaurants along the beach.
Walking into town was about 15 minutes or you can catch the bus, the bus stop is less than a minute from hotel. It is a nice walk into town you can either walk along promenade or on the main foot path which is nice as it’s shaded from the tall buildings.
The bed was very comfortable & very large.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, most of the staff speak a bit of English with is very helpful.
The ladies who clean the rooms are wonderful.

The apartment is in a safe and secure complex. There is access to tennis courts and swimming pools. There is a cafe and a restaurant in the same building. There is a big supermarket very close by (behind the building) and also a small convenience shop. The beach is just in front of the building.
We stayed in a one bedroom flat and had everything we needed. There was no aircon but we didn't need it in April. The views were lovely, location was peaceful and well positioned.
We liked it so much that we will definitely come back!

Everything is understated but exceptional quality, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the housekeeping is top -only ate in the bar but this was wonderful the food and drinks were such a high standard and excellent quality . The spa is amazing . I cannot fault this parador and I left feeling so relaxed and replenished

This hotel exceeded all expectations! The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the stunning beach just steps away. The location is unbeatable—perfect for a relaxing seaside getaway. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to start the day right. Clean and nice room with big balcony. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking (no coffe machine, but there was vending machine on ground floor for coffee and cold beverages).
Parking in front of building and also in garage, we had plenty spots to choose from.

Ibis will be the great hotel if it do not have couple of problems. The problem with the location is easy to solve with good working metro. Another problem is more serious. It is the continental breakfast. This option proposed on the hotel's web site only for $7 per person per day. If you decide to purchase it in the hotel after the arrival, it will be cost $11 daily for you. All another required services are regular in the hotel.

Gandia beach and local surroundings was enjoyable part of the Gandia. Any other part seemed very lonely and noticed fewer people on the streets. I talked to local people in the grocery shop and they told me that season is nearly over but it's a very good time in summer. Good thing about Gandia is a good transport option train and bus where travelling becomes easy and affordable and quicker to Alicante or Valencia. Gandia is more peaceful city which is located nearby the sea and mother nature but I'd recommend honestly to travel by car. Otherwise I should go about 5 km till Gandia train station but can catch a bus Line 2 and paid for journey €1.70 one way.
After all I'm in Gandia to enjoy peace and quiet holidays. It's 19th October 2025 and only few businesses are still opened and majority shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are closed and will be opened next year as soon as season starts.

It’s place to stop only over night , on the way to somewhere else! Don’t be tempted to visit Paterna its self unless you like being disappointed. No parking, no decent bars, give it a miss and head into Valencia!

Lovely beach which is very clean ,beds and umberellas are a bit pricey, really enjoyed a visit to the castle and the town itself is lovely to walk round and you are very rarely more than 2 minutes from a bar,but i think you need a bit of spanish language knowledge as this isnt the costas

difficult to access of main road. no air conditioning in room since it was turned off in entire building, it's November we were told that is what is done. it was hot in the room (25C+) even with window fully open (not safe for children) we left the window open during the night but it was storming, rain and thunder so had to close it. we asked for a fan which we got, but made no difference. had expected better from Ibis.

Taxi fare to/from the city center can be expensive. There aren't too many restaurants close by as most of them are at the city center.

There isn't much to do in El Puig, to be honest. We stayed there because were invited to a wedding at La Cartuja, which is a very nice place.
We took advantage to visit the Monasterio de Santa María del Puig (guided tours during the morning) in the center of town and the Printing Museum, in the same Monastery building. Both were nice. About 25 minutes heading North we visited the Coves de St. Josep, in which you take a boat ride on the longest underground waterway in Europe! And further 60 minutes North, on the coast, the beautiful town of Peñíscola.

Lovely beaches, we found one that was free from tourists and only a few locals with sandy shores and sandy sea floors, absolutely lovely. Highly recommend the L'oceanographic, so much to see and there is a tunnel with sharks and other fish that is amazing. There is also a dolphin show and some beluga whales that are gorgeous. The food is a reasonable price and very yummy.
