We were traveling with our 2 year old girl and everything, including dinner and supplies were taken care of. Dinner was amazing and the service even more. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area!

The hotel is an easy 15-20 minute walk from the centre of town and on the doorstep of the incredible Tarn gorge. Stephanie and her colleague went out of their way to make our stay special - especially when trying to find an open restaurant on a Monday night.

Everything. Really amazing place to stay or single, or with kids. Lots of possible sport activities, restaurant with playground, foodshop, swimming pool for kids and adults, nature that makes you breathe deeper, and the area around that you can't stop making pictures. Really helpful stuff and always smiling. And clean for sure. My best recommendations. Hope to come back to stay for longer.

Everything it was perfect, easy to find and a perfect location.Fantastic view of the viaduct from the terrace, garden and swimming pool.The staff were great nothing was too much.Our room had a private terrace which was lovely it overlooked the garden.The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything you would need.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was in an amazing location with stunning views over Millau towards the viaduct. We didn't have time to use the pool but it too was in an excellent location and looked inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was lovely with a great outdoor pool. Parking was great for the motorbike in an undercover large shed. We ate in the hotel restaurant as there wasn’t really anywhere else but the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Great views over the lake. Had a tasty dinner on the terrace. Waitress service was excellent - very attentive and friendly. There were airers on a balcony to dry clothes.

Lovely town set in stunning countryside.
The riverside location is very attractive, there are lots of restaurants and great walks and cycles in the countryside.
We’ve stayed at pleasant hotels and campsite in the town. Nearby are the Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux and the Gorge de la Dourbie, both worth a visit, not to mention the Millau Viaduct, with its small museum and viewing point.
Good for a few nights stopover to break a long journey.

There is really nothing special about Ales.
There is really nothing special about Ales. There are much more scenic and historically interesting cities in this area. I stayed for two nights in order to visit the wine country south of the city. I think next time I'll stay in Arles instead.

Close to few of the most beautifull villages of France - must visit Saint-Enimie, La Canourgue, La Malene. Awesome nature views in combination with small villages with historic France charm. Good hiking possibilities and canoeing of up to 25km at river Tarn.

We planned our stay in Anduze to enjoy the local steam train trip from Anduze to Saint Jean du Gard. Our hosts Sara and Jonathon proved to be wonderful. The conversation (in English) flowed and many stories were enjoyed. A recommended local restaurant for dinner was enjoyed plus breakfast on the terrace back at our accommodation. We planned two nights but due to car issues, only managed one.

People were very friendly. We found a great little restaurant thanks to asking a local barman who recommended it. Wished we stayed longer so that we could explore more on our road trip. Definitely worth another visit.

Ales is a vibrant little town which has grown where others have diminished! There are many places around to visit. Les Jardins de la Fontaine is a little oasis right in the centre of town. When you close the gate you could be in the country, quite delightful, a few minutes walk from the bustling centre with bars and restaurants.

Mende is a charming regional capital.
Mende is a charming regional capital. There are many places to visit in the wider Lozere area, We visited an outdoor art trail, a Spa and the beautiful Tarn Gorge during our visit and felt that we could spend much longer exploring the wider region.
The restaurants and bars in Mende were welcoming and we enjoyed great local beers and produce.

This is a small friendly town you can see everything in the centre within half an hour: the fountain, the park, the churches, and small restaurants everywhere. Good place to relax and and socialize with family or friends. The city is great for both solo travelers and groups, but if you don't have a car you will have a hard time going out because the roads outside the centre have no sidewalks and here they drive very fast.

This was our third visit to Millau and we will return to the area in future. There is a lot to see and do and some very good, reasonably priced, restaurants. We enjoyed walking along the well kept river bank, visiting the museum and the Cité de Pierres.
