The hotel is suitably located and you can reach town (Épernay, Reims, Champillion) & the vineyards easily & quickly by car. We used a rented a car and there was ample (free) parking. The hotel is beautiful decorated, neat & exceptionally clean. Everything was provided for in our room. The hotel runs more as self service, with no staff after 8pm. This did not have a negative for our stay. Everything was communicated clearly, including how to access our room for late check in. Value for money (one of the more affordable hotels we’ve stayed at).

Great clean and comfortable accommodation in the suburb of the Reims city. Free parking, great personel in the reception. Some small meal and local drinks available for a good price in the lobby. Very close to the city center. Great bathroom with shower. We will come again.

The hotel has recently reopened, under new ownership after closing during Covid. The new owners have clearly but a lot of effort into smartening up the rooms. We were given a complimentary galss of champagne when we arrived.

Once you have done "your classics in Reims" from the Cathedral to Champagne tasting ... I went the " Boulingrin quarter" of Reims .. the "Market Place " .. with a gorgeous French atmosphere and really nice restaurants ... from Brasserie to Gastronomy choices .. or just strolling and have an excellent croissant breakfast.

Lots of great Champagne houses to visit, large and small. Some require reservations, but many, especially smaller ones, are good for dropping in on, and have a tasting and a chat on the history of the house, champagne production process, and just good old small talk.. Very lovely town, not too big to be overwhelming, not too small to get boring quickly, just right. If you have a car, 3-4 full days can be easily filled with fun activities, all within either 20 min walking, or 20 min driving (some gorgeous vistas not to be missed)

The city centre has a calm atmosphere of its own.
We did a tour of the Joseph Perrier Champagne house which was impressive. Vincent was a friendly and informative host.

If you want to visit the cathedral of Notre Dame( which is beautiful) you need to check times and festival dates. It certainly is worth visiting. Our hotel was a 10 min drive in but plenty of paid parking on roads.
The cathedral city has beautiful parks and lovely restaurants which come alive at night. A good city break for two nights.

This hotel is situated outside the city centre, on the banks for the river that flows through the city. However, it’s not in the romantic area but seemed to be closer to the light industrial centre. It was relatively easy to find though.
The rooms were a bit on the small side and ok for a night. There is a good restaurant 10-15 minutes walk away along the road, so the group I was with went there, then walked back for a not-very-good night’s sleep.
Parking was good. There’s space in front of the hotel, but for added security, there is another parking area behind the hotel where access is controlled by a heavy gate that is locked overnight. Right opposite is a supermarket with a fuel station, so that was handy.

Nice small town, very clean, tidy and friendly. Lovely to walk around for an hour or so. Plenty of restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.
Interesting mix of architecture, obviously a well loved, thriving town.

A lovely little town, effectively part of Chateau Thierry where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, historical stuff (castle and WW1 monument).
Access to several Champagne caves - one is really based around a cave, amazing!
Safe to walk, there appear to be plenty of buses, but given the heat some sites (the US WW1 memorial) need a car for most people to get there

Lovely Chateau in the Champagne region, idyllic setting, very tranquil. Food in the main restaurant was excellent. Ideal for our 25th Anniversary. The cost is a little high but you get what you pay for.

It is a quiet village but has a large number of small champagne houses offering tasting opportunities. It does not have a large selection of restaurants but does have a great delicatessen offering sharing platters and great wine. You can easily walk to Épernay and there is a train service to Reims. So a great location to explore the champagne region
