The room was very spacious. We had a family room as we were travelling with 2 kids. We had a separate bedroom from the kids while being in the same room. Breakfast is good with a good choice of cereal, yoghurts, croissants as well as some cooked options such as sausages and eggs. The hotel is very well located to visit Futuroscope. This is not a fancy hotel but all amenities are there and everything works as it should. It is also very clean and the staff if very nice.

We had a lovely comfortable room in the chateau with a balcony and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Dinner in the hotel was truly excellent. Breakfast was taken out on the terrace. Very friendly welcome and extremely pleasant staff. The chateau is truly shabby-chic, but has a lovely atmosphere and is extremely comfortable.

I have read several bad reports about this venue and am unable to understand why they were written. The staff were magnificent the venue was exceptional and I was unable to find a single fault.

The rooms were large and bright. The bed was comfy . The pool was lovely. One thing I would have liked was another couple of pillows. One was not enough, and there was no spare in the room.

A lovely city, especially if you like medieval (Romanesque)...
A lovely city, especially if you like medieval (Romanesque) architecture. Notre Dame la Grande was closed for repairs unfortunately. The Church of Sainte-Radegonde is a real gem. Everything is closed on Sunday, even more than other French citiies. Even the tourist information office was closed, which I think is inexcusable.

We didn’t explore much outside the Futuroscope, as we spent three full days in the park. However, the town is easy to get around, and having a large Auchan supermarket right next to the park is very practical for visitors.

Perfect location when travelling from Calais to Spain, easy access from motorway. Very friendly helpful staff, perfect for our dogs, great to find an hotel that both our dogs were allowed to stay in the same room.
We had a parking space right outside the room which was also a good point as our car was stacked with our gear.

Poitiers has lots of great sights, but way too difficult to find park; Chauvigny at most a one day trip; we did that and used it as a base for visiting several small villages within 20-30 minutes drive, Saint-Savin abbey, **Fortress in Angles sur l'anglin, Benedictine Abbey of Notre Dame

Poitiers was our chosen night stop as we drove North toward St Malo. We were there just for the night and left fairly soon after breakfast. We did manage to walk around the main town area after checking in that evening and it was full of interesting architecture. The main centre is closed to traffic and has many restaurants, cafe's and bars, creating a safe and easy ambiance, which I'm sure we would have enjoyed had more time been available.
