The location was well placed for us, and it was easy to jump on the main tram. I cannot emphasize this enough. We should have stayed more nights. For the same price as some central accomodations you get to sleep on a boat. Cleanliness was top notch, and everything on the ship was well put together and design wise spoke to each other. Staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast area is beautiful. The bathroom looks amazing. You will not see such tiling in real buildings.

This small, family-run metro hotel has easy access by bus to Edinburgh city centre, less than 2 miles away. It offers free on-street parking, free WiFi, en-suite rooms and a bar. What's not to like. I mean, this sure was the best place I stayed during my whole trip in Scotland. The rooms and facilities are just like in the pictures. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail is on point. The breakfast freshly prepared every morning by Susan and Kevyn is amazing and delicious. The location is really good because you are close to the city centre and lots of local restaurants and cafes. It is a 20-minute walk to the Royal Mile, or you can take the buses that come and go very frequently. The neighbourhood is quiet, so it's perfect to rest after a day of sightseeing. The hosts, Susan and Kevyn, are simply the best. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay to finish my vacation in Scotland. When I come back, I will most definitely stay here again and if you have the chance... do it because you will not regret it.
