AustraliaThis property was stunning. A fully renovated traditional villa which oozed with local character both in architecture and interior design. It was spotless with crispy clean linen. The fridge had an array of refreshments with in-room coffee facilities. All facilities stated on the website were provided. The staff were warm, very helpful and easily available. The breakfast was superb, and offered an array of traditional treats. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to return.

great place in a great location. veri close to the beach 5 min on foot. the rooms are renovated and better than the photos. The prices are extremely low for what they offer especially now that everything has gotten so expensive. The beds were comfortable the layout of the rooms great (we were 3 people in a 4 bed appartment (1 room with a double bed, a kitchenette and a comfortable bathroom with shower, and 1 room with 2 single beds a nightstand and a table. we were at the ground floor, we had a nice porch with table and 4 chairs. Then the bar-cafe-dining area is amazing thick grass, shade, shelter from the heat, beautiful trees and flowers all over the place. very friendly people, very low prices for coffee breakfast and eating there. I have been there before and I will go again. also Very pet friendly children friendly family friendly.

Spacious and clean villa with a beautiful view, big garden, short downhill walk to a secluded, almost private and breathtaking beach (with a few sunbeds and umbrellas), easy to access and last but not least a great host who was always available, helpful & caring.

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia. Lovely town square with great selection of restaurants to eat at - mainly Italian themed as opposed to Greek.
Beaches are not well advertised as to where to park near to them.
Suggest 2 day stay - one day Olympia and one day beach.

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our familial origins and were travelling by a rented vehicle from Eurocar which we picked up at the Athens Airport. This was a major winner for us!
Take your GPS with you and enjoy the encredibly well organized motor ways that would best be described as excellent in every way. Kyllini was easy to find just off the West Coast and in good striking distance for other sites. It is a port city, really, with Ferry traffic to the Islands which could have made it noisy and unpleasant. However, such was not the case with super restaurant facilities and the Greek Pastries in the local shops were simply scrumptious. Have fun!

It’s a very remote town.
It’s a very remote town. A very long and tiring drive to get there, and not much to visit. The town is just average and all the restaurants were closed in April. Nice scenery and very nice people. It’ll probably be more appealing in summer when is hot down the mountains and all the restaurants and coffee shops are open.

Zacharo is really, really Greek and there seemed to be absolutely nothing happening. I figure you have three alternatives to fill your time: swim or stare at the sea during the day, sit at a cafe and gossip at night, or get through War & Peace.

Go when not so crowded or hot. We did well at end of September. I highly recommend if you have a car to do a free Olive Oil tour & tasting at OILYPIAN Koufolias Olive Oil Mill about 15 min away from town. I also loved OLYBEEA for family run local honey which you may sample before you buy! Have a meal up the hill (you can walk but best with car) at The Garden :) You will dine under olive trees & get a great view. Try to eat around sunset for a treat!

Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests are visiting Olympia and seems geared up largely for this purpose. It is quite a pleasant seaside town but nothing exceptional. When we were there there were no cruise ships in port and it was very quiet. All of the seafront restaurants and bars were open so we had our pick, but a lot of the shops were close for most of the time we were there.
Olympia is about a 30 minute drive from here.

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios which is well worth a visit.
The village of Andritsaina itself has a neglected air about it despite its springs and friendly villagers as well as beautiful location. We walked everywhere and the food at Petrino, the taverna in which we ate was good.
