Everything in the property was top-notch, from robes to bedding to the pool towels.
Breakfast was excellent and catered to our dietary needs.
Our hosts Popi and Panos were so helpful and welcoming, really lovely people.
Location was excellent with the town just a minute’s walk away. Views down over the harbour were icing on the cake.
Thoroughly recommended to treat yourselves in this beautiful little town.

Large, comfortable room, spotlessly clean throughout, very nice breakfast (homemade gem, very good Greek jogurt, homemade cakes, fruits) and lovely breakfast area, by the pool. Superb view of the sea and magnifique sunrise! I felt at home, thanks to Anastazia and her family for a great time! We'll definitely be back!

The location is amazing and it is excellent value for the money. The concept is very good because it offers a privacy due to the fact that the units are divided into bungalows surrounded by lovely flowers and threes and the bungalows are directly on the beach. In our opinion the service, the cleanliness, the food and the location make this place absolutely the best place to stay in this part of the island. From Lixoury goes a ferry so it is easy and fast to reach Agrostoli in only 15 minutes. The hotel is run by the lovely family, very kind and friendly. They serve very good breakfast on the terrace with the marvelous sea view. Also for a lunch or a dinner they are preparing traditional greek meals, that taste absolutely the best in comparison with all the other fast food restorants at the Xi beach. For preparing meals they are using their own home made olive oil that is just perfect. The beautiful sandy beach is looong enough that there was never overcrowded and each bungalow has its own sunbed set. We were lucky enough to see even the sea turtles nests on one part of the beach. If you like beach walks you can enjoy it here early in the morning or before the sunset because you can walk from one end of the beach to the other almost the whole hour along the sandy shore. If you are looking for a nice and quite place to stay this would be very good choice. They are pet friendly and this place deservs all the recommendations and we would love to come back. We stay one week in June 2025 and our stay was simply perfect! The hotel is quite big and very nice. The complete staff was VERY kind, helpful and nice: from the man who welcomed us at our arrival late in the night (with food and drinks), to ladies at the welcome desk (especially Stephanie who helped us in arranging a materass exchange and Maria who enabled our much appreciated late check-out) to the kitchen staff who prepared fantastic eggs each morning, to the cleaning staff, to the beach bar waiters that brought us drinks to the beach under the hot sun.
Special appreciation also to Stefania for the Yoga classes and to Angie for the mobility classes. VERY professional and beneficial for our minds and bodies. We attended a total of four classes in the breath-taking location and each of them was a true pleasure!
Food at the à la carte restaurant is very good, and also the beach bar nice!
The hotel private beach is small and rocky but very beautiful and with all comforts (including bar service and shower). We also enjoy the other beach (not from the hotel, but easily accessible by stairs from the hotel) which is sandy and bigger.
The hotel has a practical and spacious parking.
In a nutshell: we totally enjoy and recommend The White Rocks Hotel. We will definitely come back :)

The hotel is located at a great location for navigating the rest of the island as well as a great location in the city itself being at the center of happenings with a nice view of the central square from our room. This however could be an issue for people having trouble sleeping since you will notice the music and the general murmur of the people in the evenings. Despite that, I have to say that my girlfriend and I had no trouble sleeping.
Other than that I would like to highlight free hotel parking, friendly staff, very clean room and premises.

Amazing town.
Amazing town. We holidayed in October and the town doesn’t shut down. Went there most days, great restaurants, bars and lots of different shops. Beautiful seafront, lots to see and do. Amazing bakery’s on front and turtles in harbour.

Sami is a small port town, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to recharge. The shops are OK, but regarding quality there are only a few. What I liked is that there are some shops selling handcrafted and homemade products.
It was not really busy regarding night life and tourists, I heard that it was more vibrant in former times. For me was the second time in Sami and I value it a lot due to the surrounding beaches and the friendly people.

Argo is a great place to eat and drink, any time of the day. Simple food very well done, with excellent attention to detail and service.
Martha's Cafe is a traditional meeting spot that gives you a true sense of Greek life.

Great location: there are beautiful beaches nearby. In Zola beach you can also find water taxis to take you to various beaches and attractions. If you drive, Zola is pretty much in the middle of the island, and you'll have a selection of amazing beaches just ~20-35 minutes drive away, but also there are some nice beaches really nearby if you don't like a long drive. There are a couple of very nice restaraunts nearby as well, so you won't have to travel far.

We have visited Lassi many times and we have returned because it has all the elements of a great holiday. A good variety of beaches offering good swimming, snorkeling and facilities, many accessible by foot as well as car. The resort is laid back and spread out, it does not feel busy, although there are a good range of restaurants, supermarket and shops. There are also pleasant places to walk, particularly round the Fanari area. A key advantage is the proximity to Argostoli, particularly at the end of the season, we always know that if we need any shopping or more variety of restaurants and shops, it is a short drive or taxi-ride away. It also offers a lovely harbour area for a nice stroll.

It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm.
It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

You can tell by the size of some of the yachts that are moored here, it is a more expensive resort.
However the warmth and service from the staff at the shops and restaurant remains.
You are able to take day ferries to other islands from here

Lourdhata is a quiet resort and that’s why we like it and keep coming back. There are many restaurants and facilities but it’s not a party place. Suitable for all ages and abilities, it never fails to delight.

Argostoli is a sizable city.
Argostoli is a sizable city. It has nice restaurants, shops and resources, but not what I came to a Greek Island to do. The rest of Kefalonia has many wonderful, picturesque villages and beaches with quaint restaurants and places to explore. The people of Kefalonia are generally friendly and helpful.
