Complimentary pick up from the ferry was appreciated even though only 3 minutes walk away. Check in was fast and friendly - indeed all staff connected with Makis were excellent. The restaurant served fabulous food with an extensive menu. Room was clean and furnished to a high standard. Water taxi into Mykonos was literally across the road. Highly recommended and would stay again if in Mykonos.

The place is beautiful, the pool is filled with saltwater which is great. The breakfast was nice and rich and the pool bar had nice cocktails and dishes(specifically the Poseidon cocktail and the greens salad). About the rooms... We took the suit which was fantastic! Big space with a lot of privacy - A living room, bedroom, shower and a separate bathtub, and toilet with a door for privacy. (Also had two balconies). Everything was clean and tidy and the staff was welcoming and professional. We will definitely be back.

From the minute we arrived at Aeolos, we were totally blown away. We were greeted with the most warmest welcome by all the staff as well as Thomas whom collected us from the airport. We were instantly made to feel like part of the Aeolos family and knew we had made the right choice to choose this place for our trip. Nothing was a bother whatsoever for anything we needed or asked for. Every single member of staff from Panos the owner, his wife Maria who greeted us with the utmost welcome every morning for breakfast, George who was always so helpful, Thomas, Kostas, Theodore at the Daylight pool bar who was so efficient from beginning to end and always on hand to check if we needed drinks/food etc and that’s only naming a few as there were lots more staff who were just exceptional! A massive thank you to you all for making us feel so at home during our stay, both myself and my parents. A special thank you to Maria too who went out of her way to sort a last minute hair appointment for me for my birthday and for the added kind gesture from herself and Panos for the champagne and dessert on my birthday morning. This was truly appreciated. We are also extremely grateful for the free airport pickup and drop off (thank you George for being so kind to take us back to the airport at 4 am - very very kind of you). The free drop off into town were also an added bonus and again we were very grateful for this. The food was exceptional too, from the vast selection at breakfast to the food served around the pool. Panos was extremely generous to upgrade my room so that I could stay in the same section as my parents and this was such a wonderful gesture so thank you once again. The hotel has three pools to choose from and a wonderful sunset view with saxophone player in the sunset section which we got to witness twice during our stay.

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

The property is super nice in traditional greek island style, with white houses, on different levels. The location is ideal as it’s close to the village but still isolated for a more relaxed experience. Amazing secluded location with stunning views over Ornos bay and access to an exclusive private beach, with crystal clear water. We got an upgrade to the best room with private infinity pool with mesmerizing views and jacuzzi. Staff very friendly and helpful, assisting us with many practical suggestions, scooter rentals, restaurant recommendations, transfers, sightseeing, etc.

From the moment we arrived at Cavo Tagoo, we were treated with such respect and felt like royalty! We stayed in the room with private hot tub for one night as part of our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed also using the infinity pool with beds. The breakfast (included) was incredible with a large variety of options. The property is not walking distance to downtown, but they provided a free shuttle to/from at all hours of the day. An incredible stay and definitely with the money! Especially for couples!

What a delightful place to stay! it is literally 60 seconds away from the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen, with clear waters and no waves. It is owned and operated by a family who built it in the 1930s (now being run by the 3rd generation 2-brothers-and-1-sister team. The wonderful outdoor on-premise restaurant was delicious, and of course the room itself was comfortable and very clean (water pressure in the shower was powerful!). Plus it is 400 meters away from Scorpios club!

Everything!!! Steps to a beautiful beach, the view was amazing, easy to get to… the entire resort was stunning and perfect! Excellent location, very clean room, and the ocean view is absolutely stunning! The breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — I accidentally left my jacket behind, and they kindly arranged to send it back to my hotel in Athens. Truly amazing service!
