CanadaThe communications with the property was really effective, I had a very late check in and they provided me with very detailed self-check in instructions and make sure I wouldn't have any issue. Very nice location, one minute walk to the sea. 10-15 mins walk to old town and most tourist attractions. brand nice toiletries, high quality bath robe and etc. I never met the staff in person except the cleaning lady, but I would like to thank you for giving me a nice stay in Rhodes.

KuwaitExcellent accommodation within the beautiful old town of Rhodes. The room was very comfortable and clean, it had everything you could need. Panos was an excellent host, he arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport, met us at the town gate and took care of our luggage, he mad me sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The same goes for Georgia, she made sure our stay was very comfortable and made us a very generous hearty breakfast every morning, all fresh and home-baked, it was delicious!
The hotel is on a quiet street in the old town and 5 minutes walk from the main street Sokratous and from all other attractions in the old town.
Me and my kids loved our stay at Elaia-Fos and hope to return again in the future. We truly thank Panos and Georgia for their superb hospitality :)

United StatesWe really liked the bed - very comfortable to sleep in! The bathroom was very up to date and culturally beautiful as it was built with marble. Excellent location in the very best place of the medieval city of Rhodes. Very important fact, you can see the medieval city from the room view! Will visit again for sure in the near future. Also, the host was very nice and welcoming.

We ended up talking to the general manager George who was very kind, helpful and patient, he was able to get us a different, quieter room, away from the kids. George and us worked through the problems and by the time we ended up leaving we have nothing but positive notes for the hotel. We went from never wanting to go back to wanting to tell all our friends about this specific hotel and why they should visit Mitsis Alila and no other hotel on the island. Many people confirmed it was the best hotel on the island, and I would have to agree. I will definitely go back. In the restaurant, the food is varied, tasty, and there was never an excessive crowd — there is more than enough space. At the outdoor bar, cocktails are always professionally prepared! Every evening, there’s a different type of music in the courtyard, along with entertainment and performances. There are direct bus lines right in front of the hotel to Rhodes and other towns, as well as a boat stop right next to the hotel. Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport.
Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport. It has a pleasant beach, with frontline hotels. All the people I met were warm and welcoming. It is easy to get to Rhodes Old Town by bus and takes approximately 30 minutes. Top tip take water, the buses can be full and hot. Also just by a one way ticket each way. You don't need a day pass. You can tap on with your debit card on the bus. There are bars and restaurants on the road down to the beach. Try @mondbarrhodes cocktail and pool bar. The cocktails were amazing, Also try Joni's bar, also very welcoming, and if you want to watch sport For a Greek taverna go to Platons The beach has windsurf hire. For the best patisseries/cakes go to @cakebox.cafe There are lots of great excursions. Try @holidaysessential I used the family run company and have only praise. They have lots of different excursions. They have three offices, one is in Lalyssos. There is an acropolis on the top of the mountain in Lalyssos but it is quite a hike if you do not have a car. There is a little tourist train that cost 9 euros per adult. A great way to get your bearings. Lovely friendly place!
Lovely friendly place! Loads of shops for tourist tat, places to eat (the Rock Island bar has a singer or band most nights) - Michael is the door host - the staff are pleasant and friendly. FBI for food - really, surprisingly lovely! Peris for food - service can be a little slow - but food nice. Spar - quite expensive for certain things, we used A&B supermarket as well. Pebbly beach - we only went to look and take sunset photos. A slow walk into Ialysos takes about an hour, go for food there and wander the shops, it's very quirky in places! Pavements can be a little "up & down" and rough in places. You can buy cat food for the cats, they're appreciative-don't touch them though! Municipal bins for rubbish - emptied daily. Bus to Rhodes is cheap and they run well - even on Sundays! Most shops close Sundays. People are very friendly and there isn't the expectation that you'll come in to their restaurant or bar (not like in Rhodes where we felt quite hassled at times) just by checking their menu outside. There is crazy golf about 40 minutes walk away - get the bus though as it means you won't have melted by the time you get there! There is a small bar there too which is very nice to sit in and have a small refreshment. There ARE crossings on the main road (no traffic lights or pelican crossings) but just step out slowly and most drivers will stop/slow to let you cross...it can be a bit like the old arcade game "Frogger" at busy times though!Guest review byJoUnited Kingdom - 8.0

All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. Great beach. Lots of family friendly restaurants. Several small supermarkets stocking basic items for a family break. It is a resort so not the place to go if you're looking for an historical old town. Kiotari has the best beaches in Rhodes. The location of Mitsis Hotel is perfect. The food is excellent and rich. Getting to Kiotari is about one hour from the airport if by taxi or renting a car. You should take a car for one day to visit the old city of Rhodes.Guest review byRonen AIsrael
