If you are looking for a place to stay in Santorini i would highly recommend Cycladic Suites.
On our arrival at the suite, we received a warm welcome from the host. She made sure we were comfortable.
The rooms were perfectly clean and we had a bottle of wine and a fridge in our room. The pool was relaxing and has a nice view. Furthermore our breakfast was served in our room and it was really nice. Everything is well
arranged.
The suite is a short walking distance to the centre.

A Greek Island Dream
Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.
High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.
Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.
Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

We stayed at this beautiful 4-star hotel in Santorini from June 14th to 22nd, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely magnificent, offering unbeatable views that truly capture the magic of Santorini. Our room featured a private terrace with a jacuzzi, creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. We especially want to highlight the afternoon and evening receptionist (unfortunately, we never caught his name) who fulfilled every request with a warm smile and genuine care, making us feel truly welcome.
Breakfast was exquisite, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The transfer service was also excellent, punctual and comfortable, which made our arrival and departure hassle-free.
In summary, despite these small inconveniences, the hotel’s stunning location, wonderful views, excellent service, and charming atmosphere made our stay memorable. We would definitely recommend it to couples looking for a romantic getaway in Santorini.

This hotel genuinly took my breath away when I first saw the view. It is so well located and designed that every single room has a view of the Caldera so you can’t go wrong. The breakfasts have any and everything you could wish for and I am still craving them. The rooms are spacious, modern and completely luxury with gowns and slippers. There are multiple pools if you feel like being around more people or you prefer to be more private. This truly is the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. The morning breakfast staff made my stay as they are so sweet, attentive and genuinely care about guests.

We arrived earlier than check in hours, and were welcome with a huge smiley staff member at the reception that immediately suggested us to get a treat of breakfast which was really kind because we basically didn't pay for it. Also they provided us with towels and let us use the the pool - all that before even we got the room. Staff: AMAZING!
The location is just perfect! 1 minute from the bus station, 1 minute from the beach.
Room is spacy.

Everything was amazing. spotlessly clean. The staff was very helpful. Antonis upgraded our room and at the same price gave us the largest suite in the hotel and they allowed us to check out late on the day of departure. I highly recommend it.

Fira and Oia are the heart of Santorini and both spectacular. Fira has more to offer in terms of restaurants and shops, but Oia is even more picturesque and unique. I was happy to have stayed in Fira given its more centralized location, but it would be tragic to stay here and not also spend some time in Oia. Keep in mind that both towns are built on very steep and uneven terrain. While the main shopping lanes are relatively level, many hotels and other businesses require significant physical effort to access, so choose your accommodations with this in mind if you have any mobility issues.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff.
Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

"We experienced deeply disappointing service during our stay at this hotel. Despite clearly specifying our vegan dietary preferences, we were served non-vegetarian breakfast options, which felt like a blatant disregard for our needs. The promised hot tub was unavailable throughout our four-day stay, with the hotel manager offering only excuses after check-in. Breakfast options were severely limited, and the absence of daily room cleaning further detracted from our experience. We also faced repeated issues with hot water for bathing, and upon arrival, we found that neither the washroom nor the room was properly secured or functional, despite our four-day booking.
Located in a remote area, this hotel was highly inconvenient, requiring us to spend 50-60 euros daily just to access food or basic necessities. As an HVAC engineer, I found the manager’s claim of 'technical issues' with the heat pump for the hot tub unconvincing—there was no credible reason for it, suggesting cost-cutting rather than genuine problems. Had the owner or manager informed us of these issues beforehand, we could have canceled and chosen a different property.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Instead, consider accommodations in Oia or Fira, where local transport is accessible and the experience is far more dependable."
