Breakfast was also good and not expensive. Hotel is located steps from the beach which was a great addition. The hotel and rooms all seem new and in great condition

The nice lady waited for us until we arrived despite the fact that we arrived on Shabbat. We received a very rich and excellent breakfast at a cafe in the city. The room was very clean and warm (we were even welcomed with colorful balloons) and I like particularly the nice bathtub in the room which was quite different from what we had in other hotels. The location has also a jacuzzi and sauna which unfortunately couldn't use due to time constraints as we wanted rather visit places than relax. But for the tourists that want to relax they could use it for free.

IsraelThe hotel is small and gives a homely feeling. The manager is very kind and helpful. The room (superior) is spacious and clean. The shower is modern. The breakfast is simple but contains everything you need, and is delicious. The location is excellent. There is public transport nearby. The distance from Bat Galim train station is less than 7 minutes. I would love to stay there again. You get good value for the (sane) price.

I arrived way past 21:00 and check in was one of the most helpful and friendly experiences ever. The reception clerk even pointed me towards a few places he thought I could still get some food (I was after a 5 hour flight and 2-hour train ride).
Breakfast was exceptional. Great coffee and an Israeli breakfast with some nice added local flavours which I assumed were Arab cuisine inspired. I thoroughly enjoyed.
The room was spacious, quiet and had a wonderful shower. The bed was a bit on the firm side but that is purely personal preference. The heating system worked and windows could be opened to let in fresh air. Absolutely spot-on!
Location in the German Colony neigbhorhood with all of the city busstops as wel as the Haifa Central-Hashmonah trainstation within a 5 minute walk couldn't have been better. Lots of shops, snack places and restaurants literally across the street.
Check out was very efficient and I walked out the door in 5 minutes.

The rooms are truly wonderful. Beautiful and thoughtful design all around. The restaurant was a big surprise as it managed to cater to everybody without compromising on the selection as often the case with kosher kitchens. The quality of the food was mostly very high. Spa, gym and other facilities are all good.

The room was big and comfortable, with all the furniture you needed. The bath and shower were also very nice. The lobby is big with a lot of cosy sitting areas and plants. Children have space to run around.

There is a lot of history in Zichron Ya'akov as it was one of the first settlements way back in the 1880s, before Israel was even a state. The town center is fascinating with 2 museums, good restaurants, lots of shops and coffee houses. Several wineries nearby. Tishbi Wines have a lovely restaurant very near Cozy Cabin. The only downside to Zichron Ya'akov is parking - wow its hard to find parking. At least, on the street where Cozy Cabin is, it's usually not too big a problem. The town sits atop a high hill and the views are fantastic. Outside of the town there are many places to go and things to do. The beach is not far away, Carmel Caves are a must, Daliat el Carmel is a druze village 20 km away. Of course don't miss visiting the Antiquities at Caesarea.

Awesome location, close to the beach. Amazing terrace with sea view. Overused, dirty kitchen appliances, one bathroom had a very small shower with water pouring outside and staying on the floor. The other bathroom had a tub with no curtain. Bedrooms are ok. Old bed linen. Dirty windows.

Host was very friendly. Loation is good. Would not have taken much of an effort on the part of the host to make this property look good. The only uncurable issue is that there is no dining room.
Property needs painting and detailing. Arttwork hung on the wall was awful. A nice paint job with no artwork would be helpful. Property has no closets or furniture in bedrooms, not even a hook to hang anything on or a shelf to set something on. Bathrooms are worse. No hooks to hang a towel or a robe on and no shelf for a hair dryer, brush or pills or anything on. No shelf in shower for shampoo, cream rinse, razor, soap or body wash. Mirror in first floor bathroom is too small and is hung in a primitive fashion on a braided rope. First floor shower was nasty with mold in the grout, black mold on the floor and black mold on the door frame. Gate from parking to property needs a nice latch. Oven lacked a control knob so it was useless. Large closets in hallways that we needed for our luggage were loaded with junk piled high that was stored there by host. The host ovrchargess for this property and could at least fix up what he has so it works better for lodgers. Unless the host improves this property, next time I would avoid this rental unit! As it sits, it is not a good value for the rate charged.

I loved visiting the center of the village, the old part. It is a chance to visit with a different culture beyond the couple of hours that one usually takes for it. My favorite part was discovering the local bakeries.

Haifa is such an incredible blend of cultures, sceneries and places to see! It's for the history lovers as well as for the foodies, suitable for young couples, older ones and even families. There's so much to see and do - the beaches are wonderful, the selection of restaurants is exceptional and you can commute rather easily using public transport.

Zikhron Yaakov is one of Israel's most well adapted cities to tourism. It has a lovely central street with all the shops and bars and restaurants with plenty parking space in the vicinity. It has many great places to visit and activities to engage in in its direct vicinity

The highway is easily accessible, so you can quickly visit many other interesting places.
It is not touristy which makes you really get the Israel feeling of being among the people.

Haifa is a lovely beach town. I spent three days there.
Haifa is a lovely beach town. I spent three days there. Two would have been enough for what I wanted to do. You have to see the Baha'i Gardens. They're beautiful. They offer free tours. You can reserve spots on the tours on their website. Mount Carmel National Park is fun to spend time in. There are some small parks, museums, and promenades to check out. I thought it was worth a weekend visit.
