From the moment we arrived at The Park Calungate Hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and impeccable service. It was a delightful surprise to be personally greeted by the General Manager at check-in, a touch that instantly made us feel valued and welcome. This commitment to exceeding expectations was mirrored by every member of staff we encountered.
A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit.
Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities.
The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite.
The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

The room's comfort was up to par. I found the bed and view very comfortable and pleasing, and with a strong Wi-Fi in the room, my stay went without any hiccups. I would also say that the facilities, like the restaurant, fitness centre, and room service, were great, with great assistance from the staff. Since the nice breakfast was included in the price we paid, we all found this stay to be the best value. As the Sinquerium Beach was close by, we had a lot of fun.

Everything was clean and as shown in photographs. Staff were attentive, and the hotel offered a lot of affordable luxury. I had read low-score reviews online, and saw that these were linked to room size and room atmosphere; to my knowledge I had one of the cheapest rooms in the hotel, and it still had a spacious and luxurious feel to it. It may be small for Goa, I don't know, but compared to the UK, it was larger, and with a veranda/balcony area!

This hotel is an oasis in the middle of Goa. Although the hotel is pricy, it is worth the money. The rooms and the whole surroundings of the hotel are clean, well set-up with a great attention to detail, the staff is beyond responsive and friendly and the food was amazing. Great place to wind down in busy India. Fully recommend.

This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com.
This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com. Even after specifically mentioning that we would check in late (around 11 PM), the owner had given the room to different person. We had even tried calling on the day of check-in to inform that we will be checking in late. We couldn't talk to the owner as some other guy picked the call and mentioned that the owner is not present. This happened 3-4 times during our travel to the stay. Only after reaching the stay we realized that the room was given to someone else. The owner was very rude and told that things will happen according to their wish. Why would I even make a pre booking in that case?? I was even ready to make payment, if only the owner had talked to me. We ended up searching for another stay(tired after driving for nearly 8-9 hours) near by and stayed there. Worst experience ever. My humble request is to block list this stay and mark it as spam.

a lively place with lots of bars and clubs but not overbearing as all bars are required to close by certain times - most by 11 unless you know special one that seems to be able to carry of a bit longer , Beach OK , not as good as south Goa. Do not be fully reliant on life guards on the beach as folks seem to be in water when red flag is shown

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis.
The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails.
Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

Loved Morjim. Friendly, conveniently located close to the services in town and to the beach. Lots of action but walkable. No rickshaws, plenty of motorbike taxis if you need a ride. Nice temperatures in December.

Good locality.
Good locality. Not very close to busy side of Calangute and Baga. Not very far which is secluded. It is apt location as within 10 mins you can be on beach and busy place and can come back in quiet location for peaceful vacation.
Also, for basic needs you have few stores nearby so you can manage easily with some restaurants nearby.
