Excellent stay at this hotel!
The room was beautifully designed, functional, super clean and comfortable. Since im a light sleeper I was worried about the noise, I can tell you i didn’t hear anything and had a great night sleep.
The laundry service is immaculate
The breakfast was delicious, best dosa I ever had. Also would like to add how complete it is. It included: fruit, eggs, dosa and coffee.
Before leaving, I had a couple of drinks at the bar. The mocktails are refreshing and the iced coffee and snacks I had at the bar were really good. Would love to thank you Hanes for all your help sorting out so many things which made my stay memorable.

The pool area was fantastic, location great, right near the centre of Pondy and all the facilities.
Staff were very courteous, polite and helpful.
They allowed me to check in early, kept my bags safe for me upon check out, and gave me a number for a taxi service to Chennai.
Also, one of the best (if slightly pricier, but worth it) laundry services I had in 3 months of travel.
Love this place. Definitely coming back if I ever pass through Pondicherry!

The fresh fruit and Juice was a nice finish to a scrumptious breakfast.

A beautiful temple for some specific reason. The location needs to be maintained. The temple tank area is so dirty. Not sure if we can blame the management, ideally the visitors also need to be responsible enough not to dirty the place. The temple tank needs cleanups and the area around it needs to be garbage free.

Mahe is a small town between Kozhikode and Kannur. The Mayyazhi river is very scenic especially where it enters the sea. People and nice and helpful. Food options are limited with very few good restaurants.

I visited Aurobindo Ashram,Museum,Three beaches, Manakkulam Vinayagar temple, Nice visit to Auroville,Boating at Pondy Marina beach, Nice and tasty restaurants, Light house Nice and quality shops for purchasing and many more things.
My daughter had made very nice purchases of useful articles ,perfumes,religious related things etc and was so happy.
I will once again visit Pondicherry shortly but will not definitely stay in the property in which I stayed this time.

Made wrong decision to choose perl mahe. Poor customer care. Denied breakfast included with fair. Receptionist says we never served breakfast ever. Requested to clean the room in the morning and done after 10 at night when I came back to get some sleep. Rude receptionist. Staff are never trained into the hospitality industry. Without begging Customer won’t get any service. In the middle of the night ringing on the service line to disrupt the sleep. Never recommend to others. Worthless.

Plan a small getaway to pondicherry. Enjoy their beach. Pradaise beach was really good. Go to rock beach for a walk. The streets near rock beach is almost filled with french style buildings everywhere. Great restaurants and cafés near rock beach if you have the budget for bougey experience. The temple was different from other ones. Manakula Vinayagar temple. It was pretty chill. And if you are planning on going on the weekend, dont miss the Sunday market. Overall, pondi is great to unwind. You can stay there for a day. Or two if you wanna extend your unwinding session. Authentic pizza is a must try. Auroville has some nice food options for you to try, and other activities like meditation, etc. Two to three days should be sufficient. 6k budget should be sufficient for two days. For a more bougey experience 10k should be fine. For three days, 10 to 12k is sufficient. 14k for going all out.

Not much to do here unless you plan to stay and drink at the millions of wine shops and bars. The Tagore Walkway was nice, the little park at the base of the lighthouse was okay.
Its a slightly depressing town of mostly drunk folks stumbling about, with cheap booze and cheap fuel due to the union territory tag I guess.
