Breakfast offered a great variety and many homemade goodies. We opted for the halfboard stay and had dinner included in the price. The dinner was a 4 course meal which was very tasty. The outdoor seating area is also extremely comfortable and invites to sit in the sun and sip a cup of coffee. A great and traditionally ladinian place - one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip.

United KingdomWe had half board and the meals were by far the best of our holiday. On our first night we were given free wine tasting with local produce. Our room in the annexe was exceptionally large and clean with an amazing panoramic view from the balcony. Parking was free right outside the hotel with the option of garage parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially our waitress at breakfast and dinner.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The spa was phenomenal, featuring a beautifully designed indoor-outdoor pool, expansive and well-appointed facilities, and serene relaxation areas. Food: breakfast and dinner - a lot of food variety, great coffee and just delicious food!
Service: great staff, special thanks to Sasha, Horazio and Irina!!!
Room: great room, very good mattress and sheets, super clean!
Cleaning: the room was neat every day, the cleaning lady has done an amazing job!
Amenities: pool - inside and outside with wam water... SPA - perfect massage . Having the possibility to rent e-bikes (which we did)... awesome!!

Staff treatment was exceptional! Went above and beyond with advises and services. Supplied us with extra food when we asked and packed us breakfast as we departed to the airport early, Hotel location and services are ideal for ski vacation in the area, Room was excellent as we needed to cook (with electric stove and not a conductive one) as well as fridge. Pool and SPA are just right to complete the experience. Thanks so much!

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were incredible, particularly Anna. The rooms are large and spacious with incredible views. The hotel is ideally placed with a local bus stop outside and loads of walking routes from the hotel. The spa facilities were unbelievable, even better than the photos. The 4 course evening meals were Michelin star worthy. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. Our room was two stories connected by a very narrow winding staircase which the kids loved but wouldn't be great for a person with less than full mobility. I'm sure there are other rooms but just something to be aware of.

The facilities of Sporthotel Teresa were excellent and we wish we had more time to utilise them all. The half board meals were great and the hotel staff were very attentive and had a great command of English. We will definitely be back in future trips to Italy

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian food

The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet.
The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico.
Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.

Colfosco is great for the views.
Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries.
The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites.
While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc
We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.

Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.

San Cassiano is a great place to stay in the Alta Badia area of the Dolomites. You are surrounded by the start of some great hiking trails and they are easy to access. It's a smaller village located closer to the Falzarego Pass and the Piz Sorega Cable Car. There are PLENTY of trails to find yourself on here. If you are staying at a local inn, make sure to try local ladin dishes and ask about the local dialect! You won't regret it. For solo female travelers the area is perfect, as I personally felt safe on the trails. Locals are friendly and you get some wonderful views of the surrounding dolomiti peaks.

This small town is surrounded by Italian Alps which allow travelers to stay calm and peaceful mood. Convenient stores were available in the city center. It is easy to access to any hotel from main road to the edge of mountains. Location of this town is in between Ortisei and Cinque Torri which makes this town as stopover for a night for Dolomites pilgrimage. Of course, multiple night stay is also recommended. In summer time, air and temperature can refresh tired body and release stress. Highly recommendable with two thumbs up.
