BulgariaWe received a heartwarming welcome. The staff and the owner are extremely polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. It is very easy to reach by car and has a convenient parking. The stairs leading to the centre of Taormina and the cable car are just across the street, and it takes not more than 10 minutes walk to reach either.
Our room was very comfortable, spacious, impeccably clean, with an amazing terrace with a view to the sea, and the beautiful and very well-maintained garden of the hotel. The breakfast was better than what we have eaten at 5-star hotels - delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. We couldn't have made a better choice for our stay in Taormina.

New ZealandEvery. Single. Thing. From arrival to departure the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, made you feel at home and like you could ask for anything. The hotel itself is gorgeous with generous spaces throughout, courtyards, bars and a lovely pool area. Our room had the most breathtaking view of the coastline that photos just can’t do justice. The breakfast was an experience in itself. No kids allowed, so absolute peace and tranquility. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel, we are planning to come back as soon as possible!

We notified them that we would arrive much earlier than the check-in time, and although the accommodation didn't promise anything certain, the room was ready and waiting for us. The hotel has been beautifully and tastefully renovated. The new hydro pool was a special surprise. It's just a few steps away from the beach, where we could leave our belongings without worry on the private shore. They even brought drinks from the bar to the beach at the hotel. The à la carte restaurant offers truly special and delicious dishes. The room has a coffee machine and a kettle as well. They cleaned the room nicely every day, tidied up, and changed the bed linen every other day.
I can highly recommend it to everyone.

It's great to explore for a day or two but it's definitely touristy and full of overpriced shops. For my vibe I would have preferred to have spent my days lodging in Castelmola and then along Etna -- I'm more of a small town-vibe traveler and I enjoy getting to know and spending time with the locals.

Out of season, it’s a beautiful place with friendly locals, great prices, excellent coffee and croissants, delicious pizzas and Aperol. Everything is within easy reach — I used public transport a lot and also enjoyed walking around.

Depending what season you are coming, make sure if you will find places open. For example, the surroundings is lovely, but some places didn't open at all on monday and Tuesday and we were just for 4 days there.

Castel Mola is a picturesque hilltop town above Taormina.
Castel Mola is a picturesque hilltop town above Taormina. There is a limited bus service but I would not recommend a car. There are lots of steps and narrow streets. The restaurants were good value. The church is interesting and there are great views of Etna.

A down-to-earth beach town with none of the glitz and glitter of Taormina. Nice enough beaches, crystal clear water and a few beach bars where you can eat.
Perfect stay away from busy Taormina, with hourly bus-service.
Ristorante Arco Rosso was our favourite restaurant.

We arrived late at night.
We arrived late at night. The place is located high up and is reached by a steep and winding road, but it is worth it. Breakfast is sufficient - packaged biscuits, croissants, juice, jam, fruit yogurt. There are kitchen utensils, you can make Italian style coffee.

We loved Taormina.
We loved Taormina. We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed the beach and areas near the cable car and Iso Bella. wonderful host, we didn't need a car. Train, bus and taxis all easy. Would definitely return

Giardini Naxos is a typical Sicilian tourist beachside resort with a beautiful sandy beach, many beach clubs and an abundance of bars, restaurants, cafes, gift shops etc. You can catch a local bus to the beautiful Taormina. There is also a train station if you would like to travel further afield.

Letojanni’s location, just a short distance from Taormina, makes it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.
Additionally, the locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing a warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. The village's small size allows for leisurely strolls through charming streets filled with local shops and boutiques, perfect for picking up souvenirs.

Quaint town set on the top of a hill - quite amazing to visit! Fantastic views of Mt Etna and surrounds. Many cute restaurants and terraces.
If you have the opportunity to stay for dinner the town has a different feel in the evening once the day trippers has have left. The famous Bar Turrisi is fantastic for drinks, dinner or Gelato.
