Ortigia is where you need to stay and be
Ortigia is where you need to stay and be Perfect for strolling through the streets, shopping, eating, drinking, soaking up the atmosphere and people watching There isn't a beach as such on Ortigia-mostly stone areas or areas with platforms. Best bet the beach club Zefiro Solurium. Which is next to the most beach like beach. And whilst it is miniscule, dipping in the sea is nice. And steps from the beach club Moon in Ortigia is a plant based restaurant and cocktail place. Amazing! In Siracusa itself a visit to the archaeological Park is a must. Very interestingGuest review bykayeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Noto is a beautiful city, like being in a museum—stunning food, peaceful and quiet, full of beauty. We recommend the tour with the little train; it costs 5 euros per person and is free for children. It’s a beautiful tour where you get to know all of Noto.Guest review byIgor SebiskiNorth Macedonia - 8.0
So many steps and hills
So many steps and hills If you cannot do these you would be stuck for sure The sightseeing train negates all this but you still need to get to it and it's not Hop on Hop off so just a straight tour round Local buses are great and cheap If using Google maps when walking around bear in mind narrow steep steps are classed as a part of the route Two days is enough for sure I stayed 5 nights 4 days and spent 2 days at the beach and still did all the tourist bits Buses to get get from airport are great as is straight back to airport Wanting to travel to Modica, Noto, Siracusa is a different story. Few and far between and not many direct. Lots of changes Gi Ro Street food is lush but drinks are expensive from here The cafe / restaurant round the corner in Piazza della Repubblica sells cheaper drinks to drink there and take home Just past Gi Ro are steps to a car park Bus from here is direct to Marina di Ragusa Bus from Piazza della Repubblica takes you to bus station in Ragusa then you change onto the bus which comes from the car park, which is silly as the two stops in Ragusa Ibla are less then 5 minutes from each otherGuest review bykayeUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Avola is lovely, not as touristy as other towns.
Avola is lovely, not as touristy as other towns. We stayed at a villa a few miles from the city center. If you do not have a car, be prepared to pay at least €20 each way to get to the bus or train station and back. It was worth it for us to avoid driving in the chaotic traffic. We did a boat excursion from Avola (Sicily Boat Tours) and it was wonderful. Would have loved to stay longer and explore more.Guest review byCassidyUnited States - 10.0

Modica is a very old town on South-east Sicily, quite important for her history and baroque architecture. Getting around is easy, if you like to walk a lot! There are a lot of stairs and climbings to get to Modica Alta, but it's worth. Food is very good and there are still restaurants with good prices. From Modica you can reach the beach in half an hour by car, and you can also visit several good natural spots (like Riserva Naturale di Pantalica, Cavagrande, Vendicari) just driving one/two hours. Good craftwork as well, especially ceramics.Guest review byMonicaItaly - 6.0

We went just out of season, so it wasn't too busy, but the size of the car park told us that this place gets extremely busy in high season. It is quite a small seaside town so I would imagine it is very crowded very quickly! There are lots of places to eat, but I would advise using trip advisor to select somewhere not too over priced.Guest review byJULIAUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Marina di Ragusa is a vibrant coastal beach village which is very clean, well maintained, great for dining out and living the Mediterranean summer evenings . . . and btw head to Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi in the early morning to enjoy un caffe and a freshly done pannina from from the salumeria. You'll enjoy it amongst the beautiful locals hanging aroundGuest review byBernardMalta - 8.0

Scicli is one of several towns in southern Sicilia worth visiting along with Modica, Noto and Syracuse. We were based in Donnalucata but Scicli was a notable jewel in the Sicilian crown, especially the "Chiesa di San Bartolomeo" of all the churches and cathedrals we saw, this was the most beautiful in my opinion.Guest review bySproggerUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Beautiful beach and cliffs around the town.
Beautiful beach and cliffs around the town. Unfortunately not many restaurants and option to eat. The litters are on the beach and no one cares there. But the beach, water and the surrounding nature is just stunning. The place is easy to be reached by local train.Guest review byŠtěpánkaCzech Republic - 10.0
I never expected such a peaceful place.
I never expected such a peaceful place. Beaches, coffee shops, restaurants, Fish restaurant i eat in was La Giara in the harbour which was over the top seafood plus owner offered us free cocktails all for the price of 60 euros for a couple. Must visit again in the future.Guest review byGeorgeMalta
