Beautiful recently renovated ryokan on the northern part of the island. Owners are unbelievably lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We adored the time there.

Okinoshima was fun, there were a few nice attractions & the views were stunning and it left a lasting impression. Probably one of the best places you can go for a fishing or camping trip although it would be great if there was a few more things to do for children there. Something for the kids to learn about the nature and animals clearly. Unfortunately some of the roads we had to go down were very overgrown with plants growing out of the road and branches hitting the car. This was an issue on the way to candle island lookout, it's possibly that the navi took us down a shortcut road but it was a little dangerous and would scratch up most cars. There were some sights that we couldn't access even though they were advertised as accessible. Overall it was a highly positive experience and will definitely come back.
